Thank you brother
how to be master at c/c++/c99 ?
Why are people soo stupid anons. Yeah, razer's peripherals are trash ( mice, keyboards , DEFINITELY headphones) but the laptops are ok. Everytime Razer posts about their laptops kids comment ( oh man I can't get it cause it's too darn expensive) it's a pretty think and light laptop with decent construction and respectable horsepower ( and the retarded decison of having a 4k screen ) whilst having mostly acceptable thermals. It's not a budget laptop you nonce . Plus it should be know Razer is the Apple of pc stuff when it comes to pricing .

Wow anon u sure are autistic quit sperging out pal
For how ridiculously expensive they are, one would expect something more than "ok", "decent" and "respectable". They should be amazing, and they're not.
Hey /g/ why is modern depiction of hackers so fucking retarded and wrong? I literally got
a question at school on a sheet of paper stating that this total NEET hackerman (30 year old Arch user who browses /tech on 8ch we can assume) had an IQ of 250 and he wore leather to look intimidating to other kids to show he would hack them and he
went by the name of "xX_v1p3R_1hA_hACkEr_Xx" I'm not even fucking lying. Why do people see a person who likes computers and deals with cyber security as Watchdogs 2
tier "hackers" should we just accept the autism and go with being the stereotypical "yeah dude i wear a trench coat while hacking the mainframe kiddo" type "hackers"?
>we just accept the autism
seems like you haven't accepted your own. please go post on your livejournal, faggot.
Whatever
>>55077616
I hate the term "hackers" as much as the next guy, and have gotten into the whole "the traditional meaning of the word 'hackers'" and "there's a difference between 'hackers' and 'crackers'" debate with people online and in real-life, but fuck. I can't find a term to deal with people who break into systems remotely and steal shit, and "crackers" both sounds weird and sounds like it's more geared towards people who crack software.
So, I'm fine with using "hackers" in the cybersecurity and "happy hacking!" sense.
Hell, I don't even have a problem with pics like the OP's anymore. It gets the point across quickly, and everyone looking at it will get it. The same couldn't be said if it depicted what an ACTUAL hacker may look like, or how non-exciting the actual process of hacking is.

Does /g/ think winrar is a good file encrypting program?
>>55077546
no, it's proprietary
Winrar doesn't encrypt files
>>55077546
yes definitely, best 'encryption' program out there
/audiocodec/ thread.
Who here /opus/? I usually keep my music in FLAC on the hard drive and then encode it to 192kbps Opus for phone storage. I've only found Gone Mad Media Player to be able to play them though, does anyone know another player that can handle it?
>>55077531
Sorry op I just started a similar thread >>55077501
I use opus for mobile encoded to 100kbps. Picked the number out of thin air just because I liked it. I use gonemad on the phone and rockbox on a pmp.
>>55077531
wav is better
>>55077725
Wav takes up a fuckload of space, and I don't see why anyone would ever go with uncompressed unless you're storing it on an archive server. FLAC just seems unilaterally better because of tag support and not-even-slow compression. Why do you like it better?
Anon, why don't you use opus?
>>55077501
>Hardly any sources encoded in Opus
>Hardly any hardware support
>Only significantly better at bitrates that I wouldn't consider anyway.
Because What.CD doesn't allow it
i convert youtube videos to alac and play them on my iphone with vlc
admit it /g/ents YOU watch MKBHD
The guy often gives honest and critical opinion of consumer tech products. A great example being BEATS.
C4etech is better.

Literally all he does is read the hardware specs off and comments on how it looks.
It wouldn't even pass for a review if it was someone else
Ever sit and ponder how much your life has changed since you became fluent in a programming language?
>tfw prior to age 13 my Python was babby Tier
>tfw gradually became fluent due to piratebay downloaded books etc
>tfw now able to code in Java and C in my sleep
>tfw communicating with Indians on a Finnish forklifting forum for the better part of 6 years
>tfw I've gained the ability to earn good money without ever going to university
Piracy is good
>>55077303
>tfw was temp for 4 years doing shit excel because why not, good pay
>tfw I learn Python on my own because bored
>tfw make a program to auto all my work and much more
>tfw management hire me to do embedded ANSI C on high speed trains
>tfw they pay for shit tons of lessons
I'm now in a job x10 more interesting, x10 harder, and x0.8 less paid, not that I care
So all that changed in your life was you got a job and met people in the same field? Not much of a change is it...

This is what's expected of stock.
With OC, this is supposed to go near Fury tier. It would make sense if the OC potential is above 15%, it would be near Nano tier. @ 20% OC, it would be at Fury tier.
>>55077112
>comparing stock to oc
Your comparison does not hold, because if we would overclock the 980 and the 390x aswell they would still end up above the 480.
>>55077143
Or at least the 980 would

you're not ready for such knowledge
Some guy in a cave is intercepting all data that passes through his cave and is nullifying the packets to make it look like the data is disappearing, but it's really just a guy in a cave.

The beauty of open source is you can program your own replacement for X11 right now.
The only person to blame is yourself.gg no re

X is actually good.
It is not a rootkit at all anymore and is fully modular. I like it a lot better from a design perspective than wayland.
