I'm thinking of building a mini ITX PC, do you have any experience with this? Could you point me in a direction to learn more about this?
>>55082539
Look at the bottom right of that image.
youtube it.
beware, there's V1, 2, and 3, I think.
>>55082585
No I think he's asking about how well the case fits everything, and how well the build quality is on the case itself.
I just built my first OP. I'm using a coolermaster elite 130. I forget what MSI board I got but I got an A10 series AMD with a GTX 660 and a 450 PSU. Th PSU is one of the smaller ones and I had to get a special mounting bracket and everything is so snug because of the A10 stock cooler I got. I've been running it about 2 weeks now and no problems yet. Pretty quiet and easy to take to work to game on. Make sure your cable management isn't shit though. I was so paranoid about everything I monitored temps for first 2 days.
Are coding boot camps worth it /g/?
Is it best to try out Python to see how I feel about doing computer programming?
Is it actually an unspoken prerequisite that you have prior knowledge of programming?
they're pretty cringy to anyone who actually codes because they essentially churn out code monkeys who will spend all day writing unit tests for the actual developers and designers. If you wanna get a feel for coding pick up an intro book on programming (one that focuses on the design of programs rather than a language) and work through the examples, googling anything that you don't understand.
>>55082416
Do you have any good introductory books for Python? I've recently been diagnosed with Aspergers, and I've found my hand eye co-ordination is too bad to work in construction (I'll take way too long to do one job).
>>55082416
I also have another question.
Do code monkeys make a decent living?
Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on Gearbest, AliExpress, eBay and similar sites.

When vehicles become fully automated and every car maker starts offering cheap taxi-like services, how much do you think the amount of cars will be reduced by? 50%? more?
>>55082281
I think it depends how cheap the taxi's are cause if its more expensive than taking a bus its worth it to just get a car.
>>55082292
It won't be, they will be electric and charged at solar stations definitely, add that to almost no maintenance (because of no engine and less than half the parts), plus there is going to be a lot of competitors if car makers want to stay in business.

The experiment of an Apple not run by Steve Jobs has been performed before, and we know what happened last time and what is happening to Apple this time around. Except this decline is more gradual than the one in the 90s.
How did he do it? Was it because he was a control freak?
>>55082097
probably made a deal with satan. only explanation i can think of.
>>55082097
Steve made it feel like every single apple device was special and that if you had it you were better than people who did not have it. He created elitism by not making to many different versions of products, fuccboi tim cooks has ruined this completely.

Which is the better solution for Windows-only software on Linux?
Depends on the software
>>55081979
Some things run amazingly in wine, or near amazing in wine-staging. Some even better than on native windows.
But virtualbox is more likely to "just werk" with applications made after 2002
>>55081979
if it doesnt require 2d/3d acceleration its obviously virtualbox - you cant rekt your linux host from a guest system. With wine you can get all kinds of shit from .exe files, also usually the stability is affected. but if you want to play simple/older games or use 3D software you need wine ,if its compatible. how the fuck this deserves a thread?
How common are qrcode collisions?
Faggot google has no real results.
it's not like qrcode is a hash algorithm
2^(number of black squares) = the number of combinations + whatever the corner things do.
Work it out for yourself and see how likely
>>55081944
but there's no limit to the number of black squares
a qrcode grows indefinetly larger as the amount of data it stores grows larger, you don't work with a limited number of bytes as in a hash algorithm, there's no collision

looking for good programs to clean a computer. That are not ccleaner. ALso just a general program thread. Ones that every gamer/programmer should have.
Qihoo 360 projection has some pretty good tools, tweaking has good tools too. Love me Heimdal as well
BleachBit is the CCleaner alternative I use.
>>55081881
gonna check out Heimdal. Had a few people mention it to me.
IT'S OVER, AMD IS FINISHED.
If you care about value then the 1070 is the go to card, if you care about performance then the 1080 is the current king.
Anything less than that is just poorfag tier and not worth buying unless you only need extra video out ports in your pc.

How does it feel knowing that 2018 will be the year of the Linux desktop? https://insights.ubuntu.com/2016/06/14/universal-snap-packages-launch-on-multiple-linux-distros/?utm_source=ubunteu&utm_medium=url_shortner&utm_term=qExsl3&utm_campaign=shortner

AMDs own bullshit marketing benchmarks place the RX 480 *lower* than the GTX970.
What went wrong? It was supposed to be comfortably ahead of the 980.
