I'm trying out surf now with tabbed. It's too autistic for me, I'd prefer to use eww, because eww is built into GNU Emacs.

>even drag and drop doesn't work in surf
It's shit.

I like to use Chrome and I'll stick to it.

Let's discuss our personal usage of terminology gee.
>how do you define a variable?
In particular, is it just a label on a piece of the stack, or the piece itself? Doess dynamically allocated memory contain variables?

I see Golang take the stance that
>A variable is a storage location for holding a value.
from which it follows that
>[dynamic allocation] allocates storage for a variable at run time.
and that &x points to the variable we were calling x itself. In C its not so, so there is a weird, difficult-to-explain distinction between variables and objects... What do you think? Would that terminology be possible in C?

This might seem like a stupid question but I've finally saved up enough money to buy a gaming pc and I was wondering if when I buy it everything comes pre-installed like Ram, fans, and such or do I have to buy some parts and put them in myself?

Hey guys, beginner computer builder/new to upgrades. So i'm planning to buy a new graphics card in the mere future, but my PC has integrated graphics. any help?

PC SPECS:
Intel i5 4440 @ 3.10GHz (I don't know how to overclock at all)
8 GB RAM
windows 8.1
300 watt power supply (big downer)
Intel integrated graphics 4600 (The shit that makes games horrible)

Here is a link to the computer, its a pre-built one that i thought i could add onto in the mere future.

Now you might understand why/g hates pre-builds. Your options are to buy a new PSU, or find a very low powered GPU. AMD is coming out with low-powered rx470 model. You can't over clock that CPU, btw. Only k models oc.
>>
>>55205954
Open it up and check if it even has a PCIe 16x slot
Buy a new PSU and the graphics card of your choice and plug them in

Ello /g/,

I'm thinking about buying a GTX 970 as upgrade for my GTX 550 Ti as it is getting pretty old now, however I'm a total shitter when it comes to hardware. This is the model I have:http://www.cnet.com/products/hp-pavilion-hpe-h8-1030be-core-i7-2600-3-4-ghz-10-gb-3-tb/specs/
My case is 17.5 cm wide, 41.2 cm deep and 41.5 cm high, power supply of 460 watt of which 330 watt is being used, 116 of which my old gfx card is. Will this GTX 970 fit my pc? Or is there any other option I should go for that is better? I can spend arround 300-400 euro's on it
