Old monitor dead, deciding between 21' inch 1080p Hanspree or a 32' inch syncmaster 323t with a huge 768p screen and every interface know to man except HMDI, what do?

Goddamn, anon, why not just get a jumbotron?
(But seriously, save your money and get at least a 25" 1080p)
Even my 19" 900p monitor feels annoyingly low res, I imagine a 32" 768P makes things look like an NES, these days.
>21' 1080p
>32' 768p
If you like counting pixels, go for the second one.
Hello /g/. Extremely agitated autismotron here. Have a really dumb question about modems.
I live in Ireland and have been with a few different internet providers, and have had issues with nearly all of them, ran trough a few different brands of modems and providers and all of them seemed to shit themselves after a few months of use to a point where the modem would restart itself any time i played a youtube video.
Can anyone enlighten me to what in the fucks name happens to modems and if there is any possible way of prevent this fuckshit.
Bump with wallpapers to cure agitation
Anyone?

You're the one crying about a phone.
Less than 10 days until the great abandoning.
Coursera is removing 472 free online courses from the internet on June 30th.
This guide will show you how to hurry up and legally download as many courses as possible before June 30th.
How to download Coursera’s courses before they’re gone forever:
http://makemeflow.org/advice/2016/06/how-to-download-courseras-courses-before-theyre-gone-forever/
Here's an (almost complete at 416) list of the courses that will get the axe and disappear from Coursera:
https://www.class-central.com/collection/coursera-old-stack-all
And a Google doc spreadsheet listing:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kaWxZG3krI83WfdzlExWL-_S5UBai-CYuofGR5DZcd0/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=1433118913
Trust me, there's a metric shitton of /tech/-friendly courses here that will vanish soon.
>>55176694
My buddy works there, they're removing the low-quality courses that have been refunded too many times.
Most of them are written by Indians.
>>55176755
Not according to the user rankings friend. Many of these are rated 4 and 5 stars. Plus, as the article explcitly spells out, the reason is because of a new format and infrastructure. These are all free courses, so the amount of income Coursera is getting from them is probably close to nill.
Nice shilling though I'm not sure what you're agenda behind it would be heh.
Hello, /g/. It's been a while.
I come to you faggots for some guidance, although I'm not sure any of you know shit beyond anime and rice considering half of you claim to be NEET leeches who contribute nothing to society. Anyway, I'm computer savvy 18 year old and have a wide range knowledge technologically speaking (in comparison to 98% of the retarded kids my age).
I'm going to be choosing a career soon and I'm hoping that a few of you will have knowledge on Information Systems.
If any of you know anything about the job market for Management Information Systems or what the job entails, I would much appreciate any info.
Thanks, fags.

we both know you're not looking for objective thoughts
you're looking for someone to say "it's good go buy it"
so here it is
it's good go buy it

"There aren't many open-source friendly ARM SoC vendors out there, but a Qualcomm-powered Ubuntu Phone would be interesting given there's the improving Freedreno driver that Qualcomm has even started contributing to. It would even be exciting to see an Intel-powered Ubuntu Phone given that Intel is one of the friendliest major hardware vendors to Linux"
why do you choose ARM anon? Are you an enemy of freedoms?
bump, did the ARM fans run away lol
I was actually sold parsley flakes as weed once
>8th grade
>movie theater with friends
>overhear older black guy talking to his friends about weed
>ask him if he has any we can buy
>pulls out two dime bags, $20 he says
>get picked up by friend
>open bags
>parsley flakes
We weren't sure so we still smoked it
Anyway, Openphoenux Neo900 is the only phone that truly respects your freedoms

ARM is shit. The performance/watt is shit, and Intel's low watt processors shit all over them. Dumb faggots talk about the server market, like a 5000 core 1 MHz processor at 50 watts is desirable for the fucking server market. If they try to make ARM catch up to Intel's IPC they'll lose the low power selling point, after which it will be obviously retarded to go ARM instead of a real processor.
This image doesn't instill much confidence.
>>55174069
Why?
>AMD puts backplates on a POO IN LOO $199 card
>NVIDIA doesn't put backplates on any of their low end cards
>>55174076
I thought it would cleaner. Also only some cards lying on anti-static bags.
Help me understand exim.
I want to generate an email from a script. Basically have my own email server.
The python script I wrote sends on port 465 with SSL since gmail accepts that. However, it appears that port 465 is only used for connecting to my local email server (exim), then port 25 is used to actually send out the email.
Why? How do I change the outgoing port?
(no I'm not creating a spambot, I'm working on creating stock trading software and want to send myself emails when it opens/closes a position)
>>55173937
post the script
>>55173965
>>55173970
and here is the output of the script
Whats that? Theres like zero information on this card around the internet.
>>55173883
yeah ok so googling it doesnt come up with fucking tons of info on it

Whats the difference between this and Gaming X?
14.2 when?
Eventually. I can't wait for it to use a newer kernel and software like gparted is in the stable repos
>>55173464
If it hasn't got what you want why don't you either compile it yourself or switch distros?
>>55173488
I like the concept of slackware, but I'm still fairly new to it and am still adjusting. I'm too used to everything being in the repos and never having to compile from scratch or hunt down dependencies
