Lads, I can't pick out a fucking case. I'm tired of the NZXT 630 Phantoms design, and I can't stand full towers anymore. I want something reasonably small (mid tower) and aesthetically pleasing. I like the design of the Phanteks P400S and the NZXT H440, but I can't quite pull the trigger.
Anyway, help me out, post favorite/least favorite cases etc.....

Who is the Dell of cameras? The HP? The Apple?
What is the basic difference between

>Sony

Yes.
I am having to learn Java in school for my degree.
I am interested in learning to program in genera.
With Java being the first programming language I learn, what should the second be?
I am thinking Python or Go.
You have very little reason to learn Python after Java. I'd suggest Ruby instead.
>>55247703
Runy on Rails then?
Thanks.
>>55247712
Rails is a web application that uses Ruby. You'd learn the latter first and then integrate it with other web code to practice Rails.
If I use Mullvad for a VPN when I torrent my Linux isos, my ISP won't be able to know how much freedom I'm downloading, right?
Also, post VPN recommendations.
ur mom lol
PIA if you're just torrenting shit. If you're thinking about cheese pizza, or otherwise illegal shit, stop. If you need a VPN recommendation, you certainly don't have the knowledge to keep yourself safe.

Why would I install PCLinuxOS over Ubuntu?

Why do people keep meme'ing about C++ being hard?
I have taken three university classes that focused on Java up to the point of design patterns, graphics, networking and so on. Now when I look at C++ everything seems so much simpler than Java source code.
Even writing a fucking pong game in Java requires 300+ lines while C++ and SFML could do it with 100 lines
>inb4 le pointers are hard
Because its the first coding language engineers learn these days

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than speak and remove all doubt.
Because /g/ is college dropouts who code fizzbuzzes.
Hi /g/ I'm looking to get a new cpu and mobo (currently have sandy bridge 1155 and i3 2100)

Is it worth it to switch from AT&T to Verizon?
>CDMAIDS
>ever
>>55247401
This. Your phone choice will be limited HEAVILY. And Verizon forces almost every manufacturer to lock down bootloader's and ROM's.
I'm switching from Verizon on November 7th. The day my contract is up. Im going with whatever provider let's me use all of the nice, cheap chink phones like OnePlus, WileyFox. And Ubik.
>>55247401
>>55247695
Thirded. My friends get good service with them but the lockdown on the devices itself is atrocious.
You can be 0, 1, or both.
Computer Scientist
Well I am primarily scientist but I use computers and do programming a lot as a supplement to my science so am I computer scientist and programmer?

You're an idiot that needs to learn how to write compound sentences.
Is there some sort of widespread internet issue happening right now?
Like a backbone got taken out? I'm getting issues with a variety of websites, but it seems random. 4chan, Reddit, Google and other Alphabet sites work fine, but Netflix and half of the "is this site down" sites that I get in Google searches don't respond. Also can't play an internet-connected video game (using Origin Access).
your thin understanding of how the internet works amuses me.
The problem is definitely on your end. Restart your router/modem, change your DNS settings, check your wifi settings, update your NIC drivers, etc.
>>55247150
Another game I play had their servers go out, and hundreds of people confirmed this was affecting everyone who tried to log in.
If this were an issue on my end why would only certain websites work? I already did a flushdns and restarted everything just to make sure anyway.
>>55247150
>>55247171
Also this site shows Facebook and Netflix not responding: http://downrightnow.com/
We should force chink moot to change 4chan servers to GNU/Linux. It is something unbearable that this site runs on Mac OS.
This is the 4chan server.

How long until these guys finally kill off network and cable television?
Never, piracy beat them. They dug their own graves when they started region/vpn blocking.
>>55246959
>all cable providers are also ISPs
>lose no customers
>imposed data caps/overage chargers for Internet vidya streaming
>>55246959
Why would I need change to them? I pay less than $40 for my sattelite TV provider and I get more than 5000 movies and series on internet + live broadcast to 20 channels.
You are only getting them if you are too poor to pay for TV
