Hello, guys, my brother's computer just stopped working and he took it to a TI and he said that mother board and video card were damaged. So today I was testing a old mother board and I put this video card (GTX 550) and it worked. The cooler was spinning and the image was normal. That card is ok or maybe it is with other problem that can cause a damage in my computer if I put it in. (sorry for my english)

Anyone?
>>
It won't damage your computer if you try it. It was most likely the mother board that was broken in your brother's PC. So your graphics card is probably still working

have any of you guys tried VR porn?

how was it... Heard some guy came instantly cuz it was the closest hes ever been to actually being close to a girl.

>>
PornhubVR is actually pretty good. Didn't spend too much time on it because I was with friends and "lmao look porn m8s".

But the video I watch was pov of a girl riding the wearer. And you could look around the room as the video played. It was pretty interesting and a lot better than the VR that is just you watching the video in like a fake movie theater scenario.
>>
It's amazing.

Although a lot of VR porn at the moment has scaling all wrong, and the women are the wrong size, and don't feel the right distance from you.

I tried one clip the other day which was perfect, and it was just wow.
>>
Any recommendations for a cheap VR suitable for porn? Really want to get into this

Hello /g/

I got a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and I'm with android 5.0.1 root.

How can I do the update to 6.0.1 without problems ?
Still root would be perfect also.
4 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>55260466
You can't. You Have to backup and restore your phone.

Looks for a guide to root 6.0.1.

Then re-root
>>
Restoring my phone will allow me to update to 6.0.1 unroot ?
I will have no problem because my device was root before ?
>>
>>55260501
Make a back up.

Completely wipe everything.

Phone will not have root on it so it'll be fine to update. Previous root will not affect it. Unless you didn't wipe your phone properly

Just like the OS.

This is why Windows dominated the market.

I just need something simple to replace the now failing HDD in my 5-year old ThinkPad L420. 120GB is enough because I don't hoard data any more, and as for software and services, I've surrendered to the botnet. (I've got many other life stresses, I just can't be autistic about tech any more.) So while I might eventually migrate to a Chromebook, for now I just want a quick fix for this laptop.

I've narrowed it down to these two.

Similar benchmark scores, similar price, so I guess it comes down to reliability and customer service.

So which choose, /g/? Have any experience with SanDisk or OCZ/Toshiba SSDs? Any horror stories?

If you answer: thank you
If you sage because >not tech support: gomenasai senpai ;_;

anyone know how to view a private instagram profile
10 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Yea, it's pretty easy bro, check it out:

1. Make an instagram account
1b. If you already have an instagram account, ignore step 1
2. Send a friend request to the private profile owner
2b. If you already sent a friend request, skip to step 3
3. Wait
3b. If you already waited for a long time, keep waiting
4. After they accept you, you can see all their pictures
4b. If they never accept you, you're fucked
>>
No.
If there was a method that could be said on /g/, facebook would have patched it by now.

Please see stallman.org/facebook.html for reasons you should not use facebook. Please tell your friends not to use facebook or facebook services, either. Point them to GNU Social for social media and TOX for instant messaging.

Anyone else experience their social skills slowly deteriorate as their computer/programming/etc. skills improved?

I used to be a pretty cool and likable guy but over the years I became less confident and a nervous wreck in social situations.

stop giving a fuck you autist

be the computer hacker who sits in his dank ass cyberpunk apartment with red lights and computer terminals everywhere. wear a red leather jacket with a hawaiian shirt underneath, skinny jeans, smoke a cigarette and have a bottle of liquor with you, and have randomly strewn uzis and rifles with their ammunition on your tables/floor.
>>
If I spend multiple days in a row in total isolation it deteriorates noticeably and I start to panic about things like going to the store or the bank.
>>
>>55260045
I can relate. I don't dislike people or anything, but real life interaction is too damn slow and tedious. Not to mention the feeling that everything that happens in the outside world is beyond my control. Things are so fucked up in the world, it's like watching a loved one die slowly.

sup /g/ods

Ok Fellers - heres an Idea:

Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V should "stack" like a CPU.

Each time I type Ctrl-V it should cycle back to the previous thing that I copied. Most recent copied gets pasted first of course, but the memory should cycle back through.

Huge security risk, perhaps a ram hog, but what a fucking time saver.

What does /g/ think? or am I re-inventing a wheel here?

>What does /g/ think?
I got the habit of pressing ctrl-c multiple times years ago and this would seriously disrupt me.
>>
>>55260077
But you have to flip back to the source so many times.

Also how would this interrupt your normal C and V?

So I got my new PC and attached it to a 24 in monitor with an HDMI cabe, and although it works, the screen is rigid and jagged.

Is this an issue with the monitor? Should I try to use a DVI-D wire?
