World has traded Jesus and Hitler for drugs.

But we suffer a lot less than we did in 1860's which is nice.

I'm about to start a mini-ITX build, and I need some advise regarding motherboard choice.

Right now wondering whether to choose GA-B150N Phoenix-WIFI or GA-Z170N-WIFI.

I seem to have confused myself by reading https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Z170-H170-H110-B170-Q150-Q170---What-is-the-Difference-635/
>B150
>Max PCIe Storage (x4 M.2 or x2 SATA Express): 0

So... the B150 chipset can't use M.2? The Phoenix has a M.2 expansion slot for ssd, so that cant be right.

>Number of x4 M.2 or SATA Express devices
>B150 can have none
Should this be a concern?

I probably won't overclock, btw, but the option would be nice, which is part of the reason I'm considering the Z170 and not H, I guess.

TL;DR: Can B150 handle CPU, M.2 ssd, HDD and graphics card at the same time? (Stupid if it couldn't) And would there be significant differences if I chose a more "premium" chipset?

I have the GA-Z170N its great.
Not really a powerfull overclocker but you are not going to anyway
M.2 has 3x PCI so that's nice.

The cooler comes with a little on it.
Get some anyway though, it's useful, even if it's just the cheapest shit you can find.

the new box design looks pretty neet

just bought a 290x trix for 240$

ASUS seems like the safest bet. Are they still the most competent at giving overclocking features that are stable?

Is M.2 standard on all x99 and is there a best location for them?

Hey /g/ents, looking for an ergonomic keyboard that won't break the bank, doesn't have to be mechanical; bonus if wireless.. Is pic included any good?

Yeah that is a good kb. I bought a few of them for friends as I get a deal on them. They really like using them.
>>
>>55265812
gud to know, do you also know if the mouse that is included in some bundles is any good?
>>
>>55265783
I have it, some points:

+
It's very comfortable to write on quite different from a "normal" keyboard but you get used to it in an hour or two, and I'd never go back now.
So far it's been very reliable, I've returned to playing WoW recently and despite having pressed the "1" key what feels like a million times it hasn't skipped a beat or gone wonky like I've experienced on other keyboards.
The combined F-keys/media keys work well for me, I like the saved space.

-
The "plush" wrist rest absorbs sweat/water, so it can be stained. That said, since it absorbs water, it can be soaked and cleaned that way.
Dust shows up very easily on the gloss finish between the keys.
The combined F-keys might be troublesome for some.

The kb seems to have a great battery life, despite A LOT of use I'm still using the included batteries after 6 months. The included software is good I think, it allows you to turn off keys and change a bunch of other stuff I haven't looked into.

The mouse was fairly comfortable but of bad quality, at least mine was. The scroll wheel didn't work properly from the beginning (there was no resistance in side-scrolling to the left, it didn't return to "center" and when it was "tilted" to the left the ordinary scroll function didn't work). After about five months the right mouse button stopped working. Again, I've been playing games like WoW and League of Legends which use the right-click extensively, but I've never had any mouse fail before, let alone after 4-5 months.

I'm now using the Microsoft keyboard with a Logitech M705 wireless mouse, and using a wireless USB "dongle", without any interference between the three, so that's good!

May pick it up for shits and giggles, but with things like google cardboard being dirt cheap I'm not sure whether I should waste my money on or waste my money on the google cardboard

if you already have an s7 I'd say go for it, most normies are pretty impressed with the 360 videos and party games

sideloadvr has some cool demos also

it's not as good as the vive, don't expect anything groundbreaking

but u can hook it up to a gaming pc & use it as a monitor with trinus vr imo making it worth it if you have a high end phone already

all porn is hella fake and imo unattractive/degenerate

but you can watch your regular porn videos on a seemingly huge screen

the 3d porn is a cool gimmick, pretty realistic
the gear vr displays 3d content very well

i wouldn't buy it specifically as a porn box, but now that I think about it - it's all the vr does well besides party games and spoopy vidya

I literally just got on the bus after buying my first Mac. I went with the 2015 Macbook Air 11" with Broadwell and 4GB RAM. I might run out of storage with the 128GB SSD onboard but at this point I don't even care. Im going to use it for work online, and will try to learn coding for iOS and Android.

If your main requirements for a laptop include utmost portability, long battery life, and overall usability is there anything better than a Macbook Air?

There isn't. That is why I bought one after having been a Window user my whole life (I'm 28 now).

Id like to hear /g/'s thoughts.

Is there a single good tutorial on creating 3d stuff with Java?

Every tutorial is pretty much explaining what variables/arrays are and then writing the renderer with as much abstraction as possible in 20 seconds without giving a shit about explaining the math.

She still calls occasionally when something happens and she gets confused, but it's been much better than when she was on vista.

We use external cloud font provider as a font solution at work. Its total shit, comes in multiple MB even for one font for our user to render, has to deal with fallbacking but what triggers me and noone actually listens is that they place their fucking tracking gifs at the DOM upon font download.

Tried to tell the CTO that they can see info about our end users and that i believe its sensitive information as they are getting that shit just like that.
Still doesnt care.

My question is, does uBlock block the request for the gif ? How ? is the structure parsed to the browser, then the http request is recognised before being rendered and blocked ?
13 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
>>55265343
ublock manages loading of resources from domains.

If you blacklist that domain, none of the files will be downloaded from it. Not fonts or gifs or anything else.

It also has an advanced mode that manages javascript execution per domain.

You might need umatrix if you want to whitelist the domain for fonts but blacklist it for other resources.
>>
>>55265379
yeah umatrix is what youre looking for op
>>
>>55265343
UBlock can't really block anything, it can only hide elements and images.

With all this talk of audiophiles being retards that piss away money on magic, interference dissipating rocks that sit on top of their special Audiophile(TM) cable stands, is spending over $100 on headphones justifiable? Is there any reason to upgrade from my Gaymer Logitech G930s?

On a serious note my 11,000+ song library is all encoded in wav or flac and I feel like my current headphones aren't giving me the full listening experience so help please I'll bump with qts
