Heyo, /g/ents.
I'm trying to run Teaching Feeling under Wine, but every time I try I always get pic related. I love this game for reasons I do not want to explain and I don't want to always have to boot into Windows every time I want to run it.
I come to you in need, because I'm sure there may be a few of you who are stuck in the same situation. cheers
>>55291187
I see. You get the game window opened. That's a damn problem, you need to check it out before your pc explodes.
Happened to me, once.

Stupid weaboo
Is it true that US cell providers have shit that detects if you have a "smart" phone (that you got 3rd party or something) on their network and will force you into a data plan? One thing that has always been against me getting a smart phone is that they will force me onto a data plan which makes my bill go up even if it's an unlimited data provider. My bill right now is cheap as hell and I want it to stay that way. Even straight talk and metro pcs and stuff's unlimited data plans are more expensive than what I pay right now.
>>55291101
No thats not true. How could they even fucking charge you.
>>55291284
I keep seeing this as a story for people on AT&T esp where they used an unlocked phone and then AT&T automatically went and changed their plan when they saw that it was a smart phone.

Here's one such story from a few years ago.

>>55291082
That's a good price for what you're getting, I think.
>15.6"

if you want a new laptop, and dont want a memepad, asus cheap laptops are pretty decent, i'd say go for it if you want to
Fingerprinting thread begin
https://browserprint.info/
http://panopticlick.eff.org/
Remember, kids, disabling JavaScript is cheating, since many sites require JavaScript to work and fingerprinting code can be included in that mandatory JavaScript.
A blog post about fingerprinting users instead of browsers and devices, could there be a future in this?
https://browserprint.info/blog/userFingerprinting
Some kind anon many threads before posted a link to a story that indicates Google is injecting fingerprint code into their CAPTCHAs.
https://archive.is/9K5gs
This means that the majority of 4chan users could be being fingerprinted, and Google might know about your shitposting habits.
To fix this you can get a pass (which allows you to be tracked by 4chan in a different way), or you can trust the 4chan X extension and use that to run 4chan with all JavaScript disabled.
Daily reminder to do all your Facebook / Youtube / LinkedIn / botnet shit in a completely separate browser to your Googling or buying shit.
It's currently the ONLY way to truly defend against fingerprint tracking.
Double points if you have each browser running in a different VM with a different OS.
Triple points if you have each browser's VM configured with a different VPN.
The Tor Browser Bundle is still susceptible to many fingerprinting attacks that can uncover your true OS and browser.
Spoofing your user-agent is counterproductive unless you use a different user-agent for every site, even if you rotate them every x HTTP requests.
>Daily reminder to do all your Facebook / Youtube / LinkedIn / botnet shit in a completely separate browser to your Googling or buying shit.
How about not using shitty social networking sites at all, you fucking snowflake, millenial piece of shit?

Hey /g/. Recently switched to a zte warp elite Android phone from an iPhone 6 and I wanted to know, how the fuck does Android manage to get such boss battery life?
I've been using this fucker all day on wifi watching netflix, playing video games on it, and listening to music on it. Yet it still has 49% battery left, just wow. My iPhone 6 could barely last me until lunch just playing video games for more than 30 minutes.
I started at 100% around 11 AM btw.
Also any tips on extending battery life further? I already disabled apps I don't use and installed nova.
PS fuck iPhones, I should have stuck with Android from the beginning, I used to own an iPhone 5 and 4.

Apple's battery manufacturer is pure trash. The life span of an apple product's battery is very low.

What's your favorite TV brand?
I'm a big fan of Sharp myself, never had any issues with them.

Basically I was raised by a TV set made by Panasonic. 25 years later it still works flawlessly.
Sony Trinitrons, of course.

Hello Hue.
What is the best /pmp/ in terms of battery life? Is the clip plus still the best bet?

It's the best Mp3 player but not because of battery life. I have two and they're..OK. I like them because they are everything a digital media player should be. And nothing more.
>>55290324
Sheer battery life, the Cowon Plenue D.
Decent sound output as well (decent voltage, decent THD, very low noise, very low OI)
How can I make my t420 into a hackintosh?

Fuck you Google.
Forgot my pin, only can unlock phone with face unlock (once every 10 times when it recognizes my face).
Cannot restore pin with device manager. Cannot restore pin with my google account after several tries. Just the fucking pin.
I actually have it rooted, and can access the phone when it does recognize my face, do you know how to restore the password through more shody methods?

Stop being poor.
I love my nexus 4 i wish they would re-release it with a lower power processor

I'm using this phone because my current phone screen broke you cucklord, that's why i cant remember the password.
/g/, are there any companies that make good desktop gaming PCs without the annoying bright colored cases?
>>55290101
>companies making gaming PCs
You are a fucking idiot. It's like asking for a company to make custom made street racing cars. They will be shit and flashy because that's gaming for them.
>>55290169
This, plus anything with "gaming" in the title is way too overpriced.
I'm going to get an Alienware!

Not OP, but .net core will be a game changer. Just look up what gets packaged into a container deployment... just the packages you have for dependencies, rest of the .net framework stays out. It's marvelous to work with... I have stuff in production since 3 months ago.
