Yes, we know everything is already from China but in here we discuss the no/low-name cheap shit you see on Gearbest, AliExpress, eBay and similar sites.

Holy shit you can brick your sharks! It has a cpu onboard with firmware that can be overwritten - which fucks the device's performance!
I know this is true because I crippled my 64gb mixza with Eye-Fi firmware. As soon as I plugged it into my second pc, the damn Eye-Fi drivers popped up with "Oh look, I found an Eye-Fi card plugged in! Let me update it to the latest firmware version for you!" Pic is my card with before/after speed tests. I'm really mad at Eye-Fi right now, I'm gonna call em tomorrow
This actually helps explain how sharks are so good while being cheap. They've put their engineering effort into the microcontroller/firmware side of things. The flash silicon is probably the cheapest stuff they can find, but they've developed fantastic erasure coding and bit streaming which gives it really good read/write speeds.

Give and take friends.
Pic related is my tigernu backpack from Ali. (I also bought a gym barrel bag that turned out to be fake adidas)
Its honestly Fantastic. Will post further images of both
Request: Does anyone have a recommendation for a boroscope/endoscope for building structural inspection? Engineer here.
Is this literally just a marketing for TAILS?
They literally plug it into MAC and boot into a different system...

they have a kick starter
>>55314279
Did Teenage Engineering design this?
i'd like to see the hooks they use so the keystrokes aren't loggable
Why the fuck would I want an entire keyboard for then when I could just use a USB stick to boot into Tails?
What are your speculations regarding the future of .net core?
Personally, i hope to see it integrated into monogame via sharptk and also hope that monodevelop drops mono in favor of .net core.
It means Microsoft doesn't care much about Windows anymore. They're going IBM
>>55314256
Another attempt by microsoft to lock people in their platform.
Any product by a company that lives by the motto "Embrace, extend, exthinguish" should be avoided at all costs if you care about your business.
>>55314256
I came here to tell you; that's a very cute picture, i like that picture, i saved that picture.
Have a nice day anonymous.
Even if you have nothing to hide, you must realize that all the spyware in Windows10 is stealing performance from your hardware, right? It's more bloat on an already very bloated OS and it's only going to get worse from here on out because consumers have shown Microsoft they don't care about their own privacy.
My work week is 50+ hours so I really don't have the time for Arch, I still play video games occasionally, and above all else, I just want my shit to werk. Is OSX the only option for normalfags like me who still care about privacy? I hope that's not the case.
>inb4 install gentoo

I know you'll say it anyway.

Literally just install Ubuntu, simpleton. You can run your trash games through a VM or wine.
>>55314356
>play for a few hours on the weekend when I'm not wageslaving
>le go back to le /v/ xD
This continues to be my favorite meme.
>>55314408
way to ignore the point
literally just install ubuntu the majority of non native linux games will run in wine
also, arch does not require as much time as people here say it takes
Where's the cheapest place to get a Windows 10 key from?
I don't think I can do the free upgrade, because my Windows 7 isn't legit and I want a fresh install, not an upgrade.
inb4 >windows 10
try kinguin, i heard they are legit
You're wasting your time. Just stick with windows 7 until windows 11 comes along.
>>55314209
kinguin just finds refurbished laptops and steals the Windows 7 keys.
They're as legit as their ability to destroy the sticker after giving it to you, which is generally okay.
Why can't you retards wait 5 hours for legit benchmarks to be released?
Are you all 12 again? Are you suffering from brain damage?

cloudatcost are having a 80% off sale on their one time payment servers, are they any good?
http://www.cloudatacost.com/mystory
>>55314144
It was two years ago, but I guess its still somewhat valid.
I'm not going to be running a profit off these servers so for $7 it might be worth a shot?

Jeez.
Should I get a blu ray burner and disks to archive my animoo? I don't have any BD reproductor. One of my WDs "died" recently so I'm kinda PINCHI DESU.
Or maybe, just maybe, HAVE A FUCKING EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE OR BUILD A FUCKING CLOUD FAGGOT.
>>55313951
>Should I get a blu ray burner and disks to archive my animoo
Fuck no, just get set up a raid 5 or 6.
Actually, yes. Optical media is the most redundant form of storage. PAR2 helps greatly too in case your discs degrade.
Hello /g/entlemen. I'm in the middle of building my new rig. It will be used mainly with Arch Linux for Android Development and everyday use, with OSX(iOS development) and Windows 10(some occasional gaming and Unity3D development) in their respective KVMs with VGA Passthrough.

If it supports VT-d, then it should be ok. At least, I'm not aware about other troubles.
>>55314002
the problem is that I can't see anywhere if vt-d is supported, hoped that some anon would know
>>55313966
thanks

Is the bulldog the way to go for a compact PC? It seems to have it all optimized to work well and worry free switching from ATX.
http://unlocked.newegg.com/reviews/review-corsair-bulldog-barebones-kit?cm_mmc=SNC-Twitter-_-CNT-Unlocked-_-Corsair-Bulldog-Barebones-kit-_-NA
No.
Theres smaller and more versatile cases out there.
>>55313704
Go for it. Keep in mind, the node 202, a itx z170 mb, sfx psu and fan would also cost around $400. It's a choice of wanting to OC in this, or wanting the smallest thing possible. If you want the smallest, then go node 202, if you don't mind the extra bulk then bulldog.
>>55313733
I backed the Dan A4 SFX, but at this moment it's 3x the price of the node 202 and isnt coming till Oct-Dec.
>>55313704
Currently have a Silverstone Raven RVZ01, thinking of using a Fractal Design Node 202
Only flaw is i'm limited to SSDs or 2.5" HDDs, but thats hardly an issue.

24 minutes.
Report in when you get them.

anyone that buys this piece of crap is a poorfag or an idiot, possibly both
So im thinking of getting a mini itx build. I have an asus gtx 970 dcmoc, and im thinking an intel i5 6600, but im not sure what mobo i should get. The rog maximus viii looks ok, but i use a usb headset, and i dont think ill get the most from the on board soundcard. Doe /g/ have any suggestions?
i just got a gigabyte z97n-wifi (old version of z170n-wifi).
More than enough. You will be limited by the non-SLI form factor, not really the board itself. ROG is a waste of money.
>>55313782
Would a h170 be better since im not overclocking
>>55314184
Probably.
What aftermarket brand are you gonna buy edition.
Does HIS still make AMD cards?
Back in the day I bought a HIS 4830. Love that card. Still works to this day.
Poo
