Why doesn't someone just port DX12 to Windows 7/8?
>why doesn't someone spend thousands of hours reverse engineering directx 12 and create patches for the kernel so that a few hundred people who wants to use windows but not windows 10 because of muh botnet will be happy
I don't know, OP. Good question.
Yeah, that's really easy. Not like it's all closed source. Maybe you should try it OP.
>>55324746

>In games, the Radeon RX 480 exceeds 150 Watt thermal design power and PCIe specification. On average, we have 156 watts measured at games, in Furmark the card even pulls at reduced clock 169 watts. Extremely problematic is the fact that the Radeon RX 480 draws up to 88 watts from motherboard slot, although specifications only allow 75 watts. This may in some motherboards cause instability. Since AMD card already operates above the standard, far above the limit, it is not advised to perform overclocking experiments with the reference design, which has only one additional 6-pin connector. Here one can only hope that AMD’s partners offer boards with standards-compliant layout and sufficient power supply.
AMD is fucking done

>>55324322
Here's your (You). You can go now.
RX 480 only has 970 performance on DIRECTX 11 GAMES

CAPTCHAs on suicide watch
>this is an automated message posted by makisoft's automated 4chan bot
>>55324193
breaking captchas is nothing new.
and they always get updated anyway to fix the flaws found in these papers, most of the time the author even states how to fix them in an easy manner.
Also you could have just used recaptcha V1 and automated street number captchas which is a piece of cake and how most 4chan bots work.
just force codecha for /g/

Does this really work or is it placebo?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anrapps.pixelbatterysaver
>>55324098
Placebo, the entire screen is still powered up, changing the color that is displaying doesn't mean shit for power saving, also, the process of injecting those black dots on the entire screen everytime the screen refreshes is probably more cpu/gpu intensive that not using it at all.
it's the backlight that consumes most of the power .
You already have the power to reduce backlight intensity, but that's a compromise almost nobody wants.
coloring pixels costs next to nothing in the grand scheme of things .
>>55324098
You could always download it and try it out
Hello /g/.
I do a ton of archiving/extractions. I'm talking 10k+ archiving of folders daily.
What would ultimately speed up this process? A server-like setup with a shitload of cores? I can't think of anything else that would help performance.
Storage speed will most likely be your bottleneck. I'd start investing in that first.
