did you count in the cost of new MB??? which will burn out sooner or later by using this card, since it pulls too much power through pci-e slot.

Apple being a shit stain on humanity. Business as usual.
I don't get SDNs. What problem are they solving? Aren't networks already defined by software?
>>55350722
> What problems are they solving?
Maintenance
> Aren't networks already defined by software?
I don't know what you mean by this?
Do you mean the software running on the routers/switches/hubs or the network stack?
>>55350722
I'm curious about this too. When I first heard about SDNs, I was like how the fuck does that even work
>>55350940
It's basically high level management software that lets you do remote configuration.
Instead of going to each box individually and changing the settings you can do it from your office.
Anyone else has this problem with captcha?

Post advice to other /g/entlemen about repairs or anything like that. Include stories and context.
Headphone jack snaps off inside phone so the male part of the auxiliary cable is stuck inside phone.
Solution:
>Grab PVA glue or other semi-weak glue [spolier] (so if you fuck up you don't have to buy a new jack) [/spoiler]
>Insert glue neatly on top of the end that is attached to the cable and place this part of the cable inside the phone (provided that it has snapped in the middle of the connector)
>Leave for recommended drying time (it varies for different glues).
>Remove jack and existing part.
Tip: Don't use very strong glue, as if you stuff up then the other end of your headphone cable is stuck in there as well.

Or 404
>>55350628
But we're not tech support?
Good thread idea, but mods will 404 it unfortunately.
>>55350903
Yeah that's the thing, I wasn't intending it to be a support thread, more of a advice/ideas to fixing things. I guess GPU debates are more important than actual conversation and discussion.
How much bandwidth does hosting twitch streams use approximately?
>>55350537
I've never used twitch, but go on any 60fps 1080p youtube video and click stats for nerds and you'll see the video bitrate.
You'll be uploading that bitrate if you want to run a 1080p 60fps video at the same quality.
>>55350568
bitrate is 3500 max

If PC gaming is so great, then how come the PC 2 hasn't come out yet?
Because the first one is son good there doesn't need to be a second.
Love how you thought you were making a clever thread but in reality you weren't.
>>55350514
epic shitpsot XD
thats an interesting question op im glad you asked. Actually, the PC 2 came out in 1983. For more information, you can refer to this wikipedia article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IBM_Personal_Computer_XT
cheers!
Windows reliability thread.
Note: this is NOT an uptime thread, so Linux fags need not apply or post their stupid uptimes (OP's note: I have a Linux rig too, over 530 days uptime so really just stay away lintards)
>>55350512
>over 530 days uptime so really just stay away lintard
I hope that isn't externally facing.
>>55350552
It is, and I also bet u can't hack it
>>55350512
what's the windows service responsible for the data you see on reliability monitor
Why didn't they use any copper for the fucking heatsink. Why did they fuck it up this bad?
Benchmarks would have been much better if they used an 8pin and a better heatsink for the reference card.
FUCK AMD FOR FUCKING THIS UP THIS IS WORSE THAN FOUNDERS EDITION TRASH
>>55350480
The heatsink has a copper core, it was to keep their costs down, the 1070 and 1080 have just as bad thermals, you should always wait for after market cards unless you plan to do a custom liquid loop
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uvhyrz5oDPo
>>55350495
I wanted a reference card and they fucked this up.
How much extra would 2 heatpipes cost ffs
>>55350524
Why would this card be any different? it's only meant to function up to it's advertised specifications
>be me
>stop caring about hardware
>suddenly /g/ explodes because a $200 dollar card performs on par with other cards in that price range and eats some extra power
