I got a huawei honor 5x earlier this year. I am having trouble charging the phone in my car. I have two chargers one rated at 2.1 amps and the other at 1 amp. These are not enough to charge the phone under load like running google maps and syncing music with bluetooth. I am considering getting a type c usb charger that provides 3 amps. Is this suggested?
Go fuck yourself.

How childish
>upgrade to windows 10
>no nvidia drivers and gigabyte drivers barely work
>ethernet cable doesnt work for shit
>uninstall network driver
>restart
>install w10 driver
>still doesn't work
>repeat x3 times
Didn't really have time to uninstall shit and don't want to make a fresh install so. What's the point of "upgrade now" if the drivers from windows 7 aren't compatible with 10?

I'm pretty sure that a cable cannot break that way. Your NIC might stop working, but a cable?
Have you tried testing the cable on some other machines?
Are you sure that it isn't cut somewhere in the middle?
How the fuck do you install Windows 8.1 on a 2.0 usb drive on Skykale.processors?

Given a text file with a list of absolute paths to mp3 files, is it possible to play them using vlc in linux? Or any other player, doesn't have to be vlc.
>>55378427
I think most take that kind of input.
just start it with that list as arguments
yes. I don't use vlc, but even if a program doesn't accept playlists, you can usexargs -a (playlist-file) (program)
>went through C++ until data structures in school

What should I read after these two? I don't have an immediate goal, I just want to learn.
I have the /g/ wiki at hand.

I get a "CPU failed to overclock" error and am sent to bios when I try to start up after installing new RAM, any advice? The timing/voltage is set to auto, but it shows that they're at what they're supposed to be (9-9-9-24 and 1.5V).
I restarted it and everything is fixed :^) wow, the magic of restarting a computer. I will delete this thread and commit sudoku now.

I do all my C and C++ programming on a Thinkpad x140e. It has an 11.6 inch screen, an AMD A4-5000 chipset and 4 gigs if RAM (though I did upgrade it to 8 gigs). I run xubuntu and do the majority of my programming in Sublime Text.
