So i got a virus/ransomware on my phone that impersonates International Cyber Security Protection Alliance and asks me to pay them or face jail. I googled this and came to "YooCare", who apparently has a "fix guarantee", for a price..

Does anyone know if YooCare is legit and can be trusted? I've never heard of them before, but then again i've never had a virus before either.

Does it matter how I connect my hard drives on the motherboard using SATA like my main OS drive (C drive) should be connected to the "0" while my next drives should be on the "1", "2" respectively?

Hey /g/,

So i've bought a 32GB Sandisk Ultra awhile back to use with my new phone I was getting. So I try to use it on my phone and see that my poctures aren't loading. So then I thre the card into my pc and sure enough I can't read or write to the card. I've always had issues with sandisk even though everyone says that they are reputable. I really need a card that works now and I just want this ultra-autism to end.

What do I do /g/?

My department requires a laptop with a workstation gpu (mildly-understandably)
Is there any reason not to get the Razer Blade Stealth, Razer core and a Desktop class workstation gpu?

For maybe 3% better performance:
-You are paying $40 more
-You are getting SIGNIFICANTLY worse DX12 performance
-A bare minimum framebuffer size
-A card that has passed its peak, performance will only decrease
-Getting worse performance per watt
-Getting last generations technology
-Getting worse >1080P performance

If you choose a 970 over a 480, you are a blatant shill and there is no denying that. You are choosing a far inferior product due to brand name.

im starting uni again this september

for the third fucking time for a 3rd diplom

i want to get a new laptop but i really dont need an expensive one because ill be just using it for internet, maybe watching streams and office, codeblocks, ladder programing software and maybe oracle and shit like that

ill traveling around a lot so it will be required

normally id just buy a lenovo, middle category or something

there is no price range but id go for the minimum i need

any suggestions?

New Zealanders on /g/ what is the best list of parts from pbtech that are compatible with each other for a desktop tower at around $600, max of $650. I plan on using my pc for school work, web browsing, and I am going to learn how to use Photoshop and how to code for Unity. I have a PS4 for gaming, so don't need pc for gaming, and I plan to share my monitor between two devices, switching between them.
