I want to run ARM apps on an android phone that uses x86. How do I do it? I've read some posts from a few years ago that claim there is some stuff that can emulate ARM, but I'm not the most technologically capable.

I'm not trolling, and I don't really understand. Maybe I've been mistaken about the issue. I'm trying to play pokemon go on my zenfone 2, but I've read that it isn't supported by phones that use Intel CPU's. I tried installing it, but just get a black screen after opening it, so I assume they're right. I thought the issue was that Intel CPUs can't run ARM apps, but Ive probably misunderstood.

Okay then, I'm more than ready to lie about a degree to get a job. I live relatively in the middle of nowhere and any "programming" position that comes up, is

>bachelor's degree
>need 30 years of experience
Been at a couple of IT jobs with people with "bachelor's degrees" who didn't know what an IP address is (yes really) and programming "interviews" go about the same the three times anything shows up in my city.
Are degree mills a way out of this? These people weren't having sex with anyone so I assume they lied their ass off too.
At this point, would much rather take the option of bullet in the head than waste my time at school and be 100k+ in debt. Nobody in big cities is ever willing because the answer is always we wanted someone local and usually at that point I only got the call because I was lying that I lived there.
I'd much rather lie and be hopping from actual jobs in the hopes that my performance after the initial few months would be the real credentials. There's no way I'm dropping that kind of cash and time just to get in the door, that's fucking insane and they'll just say no for some other reason. There must be an easier way.

Got my idle CPU temp down. Replaced the stock cooler with a CM 212, also cleaned and re-applied the thermal paste. I used the one that came with the new cooler. Probably should be a few degrees cooler still. At this point I don't care though, and I'm too lazy at this point to unscrew the new cooler (which was a bitch to put on) and re-apply some new thermal paste.
I'm just happy that my CPU isn't on fire.

What is the dude's problem at Distrowatch? So he and Texstar (the creator of PCLinuxOS) disagree politically or whatnot? Who cares? I thought this was about free software? If Distrowatch refuses to show the latest releases from the PCLinuxOS website, then aren't they doing more harm than good for free software? Especially since this distribution is one of (if not, the best) distro in existence today. Why would you hinder something so good just because you disagree with the creator on certain topics? This is stupid. I was able to confirm this via an Xchat session with one of the developers. The dude from Distrowatch needs to chill. i love his website, but he just needs to allow the the latest versions to be posted.

fps depend on the gpu you mount in ot, obviously, but it works great and seeing games, with ultra graphics and 60fps on a laptop is awesome.
despite this, yes, it's shit. too many hacks, psu, another gpu, cables, a box to store everything neat, and modest probability it will not work

I ran a GTX 970 and a GTX 980 on a BPlus PE4C 3.0, connected to my ThinkPad.
Obviously, it works. What was previously unplayable on my ThinkPad at all settings under native resolution (Homefront 2), was now playable.
This is after considering that my ThinkPad has a Quadro K2000M, which tends to at least be able to play most anything, even if you have to reduce the quality settings.
What is really noticeable though, is that the difference between a GTX 970 and a GTX 980 is staggering. Not that you would really notice on a less performance hungry game.
I use one because I don't own a desktop PC. This is a more economical decision for me, because I have all of my software licenses on one computer (because some people have jobs, unbelievable I know)
