I'm looking for a new monitor, and I'm stuck between the Dell U2414H and the AOC I2476VW.
I live in a east yuropoor country, and the price difference is huge, the Dell is twice as much as the AOC

The Dell is really nice looking and it's been on my wishlist for some time now, but for the price difference I don't really care that much about looks.

So, if someone has experience with both, please help me out, thanks

You'll always wish you bought the nicer thing when you go cheap
You'll always second guess yourself when you go expensive.

You'll have buyers remorse no matter what, just ask yourself which one is worse
>>
>>55458468

Better to second guess than wonder what might have been, maybe
>>

Dell U2414H for the incredible input lag and connectivity.
Just don't get AOC unless you want buyer's regret.

Shit tech thread

Even if technology in general has come a long way, there is still some specific areas that seems to lag behind.

The two contestant today are:

Printers vs routers

Laser Printers work fine for me. Routers and Modems are pretty fucking shit though.
>>
>>55458291
My BSD server acts like a router
Pretty comfy
And printers always work for me, just gotta replace the powder
>>
Inkjet can go and die in a fire

Laser works when you actually decide to use it (I barely use my one at home) and now with Windows and *buntu drivers aren't that much of a hassle

Routers are shit unless you fork out for something that has a *wrt base, then they're dreams. Asus's RT-AC line is good

Printers have got this one in the bag desu

I hope you're rendering or encoding or something cause that xeon with a GTX 970 will work for gaming, but the single core performance is so lacking that even an i3 with likely perform better in most games because of the higher core clock.
>>
>>55458279
you would be surprised, i had a skylake rig (6700k) and in almost every game i play they are within 5 fps of each other on ultra. I usually only play gta v and overwatch, but this was definitely worth the 400 bucks i spent on it

also bruh that nvidia is overheating to all hell

This. I use Pocket solely because it saves pages for offline reading later. I don't have a smart phone currently, so I use a tablet for reading on the go.

Pocket works pretty well (except for when their entire site went down that one time a few weeks ago, that was pretty lame). Any FLOSS alternatives?

DACs are useful for music production. Realtek Mobo ones are fine for the most part. Connecting them to an actual amp will give you most of the benefits of a soundcard.

WRITE A FUNCTION IN THE LANGUAGE OF YOUR CHOICE THAT TAKES A STRING AS INPUT, DOUBLES EVERY CONSONANT AND PLACES AN 'O' IN BETWEEN.

FOR EXAMPLE, 'I'M A GIANT FAGGOT' SHOULD RETURN 'I'MOM A GOGIANONTOT FOFAGOGGOGTOT".
