Also general Thinkpad Thread.

That think looks dirty as fuck. Go to eBay for better deals.

Yeah thats exactly what I was thinking.
>>
that is outright disgusting, why would you even consider that.

Also, get a t430 or t420.
If not either of those, get the x220/x230.

FINE I'll start.

>trying to make a query to an internal API
>API objects are in Java
>out tool is in Python
>Jython it is then
>mfw I have to create 9 different types of class instances to make a simple query

I like Java, my whole uni education was in it, but whenever I encounter Java in crop world I just want to drink myself to death.

Nothing? No one?

You people are hard to entice. Or just don't have a job i guess.

>trying to use an official framework for accessing a well known API in python
>it's also python but uses java libraries
>jython it is then
>switch to jython and attempt
>FUCKING NOTHING BUT EXCEPTIONS
>check the repo
>owne and last commiter no longer with the company
>poke the manager for write access
>get it after more poking with "great we have an owner for it now!"
>expect only a few fixes
>mfw 2 days later I'm still fixing it
>feels like it was written without being run even once

I... what?

Guys, here in Mother Russia is a dark day today. Our Great Leader and God Emperor Vladimir Putin has signed new law and now all our data should be kept by Internet providers for year.

Not that I'm do something illegal, but I am more concerned about my privacy now.

How can I fell a little more protected from hype-botnet? Maybe something simple, like vpn? Some kind of Tunnelbear, advertised here and there, can fulfill my needs?

Thanks in advance, comrades.

DDR4 is better in every way. But there's no decision to be made, because there's no platform that supports both (unless you're a real retard and consider buying DDR3L for Skymeme, but hardly any boards even support that).

Do they make a 27-40" 1080p 16:9/16:10 similar to this LG 29um58?

I love how it stays cool, has no air vents, and turns itself off.

Can I get that in a normal aspect ratio and resolution that games actually support?

doing the bios upgrade is probably your best bet. you can buy a usb floppy drive that will work on a modern pc and a couple of disks pretty cheap on amazon

you should also look into installing linux on that thing.

there are sometimes retro computing threads here where someone might be able to help you out also >>>/vr/ might have similar types of people

good luck and remember to have fun
>>
>but the bios doesnt let me change the boot order
You're doing it wrong. You can change the boot order in the BIOS setup since the 386 days.
