>why haven't you gotten your CCNA thread
Is pic related a good way for me to get my CCNA? Has anyone here gotten theirs? Anyone verify if this is good tier? Anyone recommend a course for CCNA if this one is shit tier?
ur gay fuk u faget
>>55466284
it's meh. that guy talks like a fag and his shit's all retarded. CCNA is worth it if you actually absorb all the material. The cert will get you an interview but if you clearly don't know shit you won't actually get the job. I recommend supplementing your learning with different sources, not just using one video series. INE probably has the best CCNA video series but it's like $100. Todd Lammele has a pretty comprehensive CCNA book you can get off amazon too.

good movie.
>so would you say you have passion for programming?
>we're basically a company that white labels our custom cms to people who don't know any better
>so tell me how passionate you are about this
I fucking hate the word "passion". Why would I ever be excited about 95% of software jobs? Why do they want me to lie? Do people not lie about this?
Like I would get joy out of working on their software. Delusional assholes.
Sounds like someone didn't get the job.
i get joy out of working ur mom but thats just me
I am passionate about programming and slogging through projects up until handover.
>Computer Engineering major
>at my future school CS and CE majors get the same intro to CS/CE class
>it's fucking Java
>I am a Computer Engineering student and my first school taught language will be Java
Thank god I already learning C but how fucked am I? Is my school complete shit?
>>55466067
>Is my school complete shit?
Yep.
>>55466067
No you're not. My school is the same. 1st intro class was Java. Everything afterwards is C and other OS languages.
It's kinda like the norm i think.

Why does anyone with a 3 year old Android phone need a new one?
I dare any of you to convince me otherwise
>>55466049
That's how I felt With my g2 but then the software update cucked it. I have g5 now
Why does anyone needs to buy new technology? Probably because its a little faster, has some new features, looks better, its smoother, etc
>>55466049
Im an Android developer and fucking hate KitKat
Why isn't razorqt as popular as lxde, xfce, or mate?
It runs smoother than all of them while still managing to look quite nice overall.
It seems to use ~30mb more ram on my pc than mate does on Ubuntu, but it does run quite a bit smoother overall too.
I've only had it for 3 days and I'm loving it so far.
Pic is a random pic of razorqt from google, not posting my own desktop on /g/ because I don't want any issues, I just want to discuss DEs.
What are some other lightweight and nice looking options to try out? I tried installing Trinity but it's not showing up as a DE on the login menu.
For some reason it's using much more ram in this chart, but on my pc at home it's only using 340MB on boot, Ubuntu mate uses ~300 to 310MB on boot.

>razor-qt
Razor-qt is dead, try lxqt instead
Currently enrolled in Computer Science and Engineering at my Uni. Is normal CS a better choice?
The only difference in classes is that CSE has a mixture of CE and EE classes the last two years instead of CS electives.
banging ur mom was a better choice for me
Ask /sci/./g/ is just IT and electronic whores

When a program on Windows asks for admin rights/the UAC pops up, what permissions are actually granted?
all of them
literally, it has root
>>55465750
I meant what a program do*.
>>55465851
It can modify protected files so change settings, modify the registry.
Is the Program Files directory on Windows user-writable? If no it also has to elevate privieledges to install itself there.
I'm about to buy an internal 2TB hdd but im not sure if i should get wd or seagate.
The seagate one is 7200rpm but the wd is 5400rpm i heard seagate gets a ton of hate but mainly their 3tb. is the 2tb version good ?
Its about as good as ur moms blowjobs
spoiler: not vry good
get rekt faget
>>55465532
what
>>55465520
WD is the better brand, but do not purchase a 5400 rpm drive. Look somewhere else if they don't have 7200's in stock.
I just bought a new boost mobile phone from amazon. Do I have to go in to the shop and tell them I got a new phone? Will they charge me to activate it? And can I put my case and screen saver on ahead of time? Because all boost mobile employees I have ever met are muslim or mexican. And I don't trust them with my phone because they don't speak english very well.

I believe all you have to do is call a number to have them activate the phone once you get it and then you'll be able to use it. That was the procedure a few years ago so I suppose now you can activate it online in some webpage, but I haven't checked so IDK.

While you could blame using the wrong tool for the purpose.
At least one review site have revisited their review of the drive stating that the drive died a year or so later.
I have a seagate drive and a WD drive that both run at the same speed, yet somehow the WD is faster at doing everything
I've been running Seagate drives for years and none have died. Seems Seagate meme is just a meme.
>>55464605
I have several WD drives with smart errors lying around me, with most of them below 5k running hours.
My old Samsung drives with 20k hours and more do not have such problems, but I am honest,
I am frightend of losing the data of an entire 8TB drive.
