I'm looking to buy a cheap Thinkpad, about $220, why can't I find any decent ones anymore? Any with like i5, or i7, and 500gb or more HDD, and 8gb or ram.
Newegg used to be flooded with them and now I can't find any decent ones.

Buy one on eBay without a hdd it’s like $100 and then buy a hdd for it, I got a t430 with i5 8gb with wifi Bluetooth and the dock for $120, slapped a ssd in it and it’s amazing

Why is it so difficult to use Apple devices? I've never had one "just werk" they've all been shit in horrible ways.

Stupid glossy screen is horrible for outdoor use, track pad is grippy against my finger, keyboard is so shallow I may as well use a touch screen with haptic feedback which would be better.

Yeah if you want to make calls. A lot of "smart" features require jailbreak, and even then a jailbroken iPhone is almost as functional as an Android device yet needlessly more complicated to use.

Is the future of hardware computing non-volatile RAM?
I mean by way of cutting out the middleman that is HDD/SSD storage, and just having a NV RAMDisk. How far away is this potential eventuality? When ECC DDR7 becomes a thing? Or even a new standard?

I cheaped out on GPU and bought the 1050 ti, i'm gonna return it and get the 1060, will the 1060 be plug in and play since the drivers i have for the 1050 ti are from the same series? or do i have to go through that shitty process of deleting drivers, putting in the new card etc?

Power line networking adapters there cheap and easy to set up. There a good option if running cable isn't a option like in a rented or shared apartment.
