How new are you
>tfw fell for the APU MEME
It would have been better had I bought a good CPU + GPU or Intel with eGPU and a good GPU card.
>>61852622
Bulldozer APUs weren't that good unless you were completely broke or building an ultra small form factor PC.
>>61852622
APU is good enough for a frogposter.
>>61852622
whats yer specs
if you are thight for money (<500$)
a ryzen 5 1600 plattform is cheap and will last you along time , if you need a good gpu you can get a G4560 system and upgrade the cpu to a 7700 later on
Pen and paper or a password vault? Encrypted excel or librecalc file?
A scheme that creates a very unique pattern based on each service's name. It's much easier to recreate each password (until it becomes rote) in my head than to have to remember them all.
Text file on my desktop on pc and laptop

randomly generated string saved to .txt file, destroyed and regenerated by hand each week. gonna be a full time job trying to spy on me, bucko.
I was on here a couple weeks ago saying how we need an alternative to the internet a seperate ISP system that cannot be shut down or policed. Like a web mesh of specialized wireless routers built on the blockchain to incentivize it (or something akin to it) and i got laughed down. Forward to a couple days. Google is showing you the kind the grip they have on your balls and now you cucks are seeking alternatives.
*guys guys guys what about this or that guysssssssssss*
What you gonna do when at&t,time warner, google are all doxing you because they are now your isp and can monitor your data. You think a little chrome plugin or tor browser is going to stop them.
4chan is a meme, You guys deserves every form of oppression coming your way
>>61852578
>google is your isp
no my isp is vodafone
now shush
>>61852578
>specialized wireless routers built on the blockchain to incentivize it
You were probably laughed out because it's technically infeasible, and anyone who knows enough about wireless networking won't even bother with you.
The more people simultaneously using wifi, the worse everyone's service will be (and no, 802.11ac's directional antennas won't do shit when literally everyone surrounding you is trying to get on the network). The meshnet will be basically unusable with a substantial number of people using it.
>>61852628
Whenever i hear, something cant be done its usually because of someone lacking creativity or being too much a linear thinker. I wonder how many people like you got shut the fuck up throughout history when people proved you wrong by finding a workable solution. Every white paper ive seen on this issue says its a technical one that can be solved but for the lack of incentives.
Anwyay like anything
Generation 1 of the implementation will likely be buggy
generation 2 will bring in the true minds through incentives and better tech will be created begin to lead the way to true disruption
What doesn't 4chan adopt bootstrap or other css framework?
>>61852536
That's actually a great idea. I think someone should create a imageboard fork with design done in Boostrap (best CSS framework).
>>61852536
Why is that needed? This blog forum doesn't need extra shit when it functions fine
Can we get a /g/uts thread going, I haven't been on this board in a while and I miss seeing some of the spectacular builds, the pic is my computer, feel free to critique or belittle it
a thread died for this when you could have ctrl+f FOR FREE
Alright tech fags I'm utterly retarded in lua, and I need a way to generate an 11 character long string of digits and lowercase and uppercase letters. Please advise.

Hey Tech,
I have a laptop LCD panel that I'm converting into a standalone monitor. I have the hinges and supports for the panel and I can mount it anywhere I want.
I'm also rebuilding a house. So, I can put a fun little monitor space anywhere I'd like.
Do you guys have any recommendations or fun ideas to use a laptop LCD in a cool convenient location in the house?
I was wanting to hook it up to a powerful little mini computer. VGA output mind, but I was going to run android 86 to keep it easy.
- Mount of sun visor of truck
- mount underneath kitchen cabinet
- mount around the kitchen table
I'm going to be utilizing a vintage receiver and some badass cerwin vega speakers in the living room. I was planning on making a jukebox out of random computer hardware I have. Good sound output though.
Pic related, already have the equipment coming.

>Do you guys have any recommendations or fun ideas to use a laptop LCD in a cool convenient location in the house?
Above your pillow.
right now I have a pair of bookshelf speakers connected to a (relatively) cheap receiver for computer sound
the receiver is relatively big and it has things I don't need built into it (multiple inputs/outputs, remote control, radio etc)
all I need is an amplifier that can reliably power a pair of (good quality) 40W (each) speakers
on it, all I need is power and volume button (I don't need balance, equalizer or any other shit)
as far as input, all I need is ONE set of RCA connectors (or optical)
something under 2x5x5 inches and under $50 is possible?
any suggestions?
bump?

look up class D amps on ebay
lepai makes some, idk if they'll be powerful enough though.
>everything has already been super efficiently implemented in some library
I just wanted to write clever code man.

browsers are all still shit, get to work anon
you could do a new javascript frmework
>People are still assuming libraries are of high quality
nah nigga.
A company hosting anti-adblocker code has used the DMCA on the EasyList github repo to purge an entry on the blocked domains list.
https://blog.adguard.com/en/ad-blocking-is-under-attack/
uMatrix doesn't have this problem
It seems like it shouldn't have been on EasyList anyways, but the company abusing the DMCA is also setting a terrible precidence.
Anyone done/doing courses on udacity?
Is it waste of time?
>>61851171
Watched parts of a course on Computer Vision. Lecturer was pretty good. The explanations are very basic, so simple even a normie can understand. Was useful for understanding basic concepts.
The exerciser was a pajeet though, couldn't understand a single thing he said.
>>61851171
some courses are alright. I would never pay for it though
I tried a beginner guide to android development.
I was a pain in the ass to watch video, books/pdf are really better. The exercices and their sense of humour are terrible.
I stoped because their courses are memes.
> Waste of time ?
yes
What do you want to learn ?
Does anyone know what chair this is? It's the one Louis Rossmann sits in and it used to be an Aeron.
Is it worth getting an embody? Craigslist has a used one for 550 that I'm realllyyy considering..
>>61851125
I think I answered my own question. I found this $120 "Work Smart" chair on amazon. The back and arm caps look identical
>>61851251
Oh and also there appears to be several brands of this exact chair. Office Star makes one that looks exactly the same for $60 more.
