When did your first SSD die? Mine croaked last week, after 5 ½ years.
>>55619115
what model? did it go into read-only mode or just died.
>>55619669
It goes into read-only mode once. It's dead on reboot. OP probably didn't notice anyway. Sudden deaths can be avoided by checking their smart values occasionally.
mine is still going.

What is the current status on Artificial Intelligence? Are we even close to creating a self-conscious machine?
20 years from now, as it was 20 years ago

Is Piracy ever justified?

Why does it have to be justified? I don't care to justify it or explain myself.

Does windows 10 scan for cracked software? For example will they send or store data if Autocad is cracked?

As for question - probably not, but Windows Defender does.
Join us now and share the software.

So will defender think its just a virus, and nothing more?
At what point does having windows 10 and other programs installed on an SSD, with an HDD for data storage become noticeably faster than just having one 1tb 7200rpm hdd.
currently weighing options on a budget pc, which i intend to be reliably fast and upgradable for the next 5+ years.
but there is still a lot im unaware of.
pretty much going to be an internet machine with light gaming.
cpu: i5 6400
motherboard: MSI H110I Pro Mini ITX LGA1151
https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/H110I-PRO.html#hero-overview
dedikaded wam: crucial 2x4GB DDR4 2133 (cause from what i hear 8gb is already overkill for what im using it for)
gpu: radeon r7 250 2GB (not playing crisis)
psu: FSP 500w +80Gold (psu calculator + the possibility of upgrading to slightly better stuff)
storage: this is where im confused theres are my options but im not sure if it will even matter
OS + Data : WD Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
or
Data: WD Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
OS: Sata SSD Sandisk Z400s 128GB
or
Data: WD Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
OS: M.2 SSD Sandisk Z400s 128GB
But im confused if using an (m.2)SSD as a boot drive / programs only drive is just a Glorified Power Button, since ive heard that once a program is open its Loaded into the Ram. Meaning the SSD will only speed up startup time and the opening of New Programs... but once its on the Ram, its just the Ram and CPU doing work. idk if thats accurate...
>>55618829
Its way faster by default because HDDs are fucking slow
>>55618829
Just get a 120 GB SSD, they're only $55 CDN these days. I'm sure even cheaper in burgerland.
>>55618829
>At what point does having windows 10 and other programs installed on an SSD, with an HDD for data storage become noticeably faster than just having one 1tb 7200rpm hdd.
It's noticeably faster the instant you turn on your computer and Windows loads in seconds and is instantly useable upon logging in instead of chugging around while waiting for startup shit to load for three minutes

If you would like to try out GNU/Linux you can do one of the following:
0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine using VirtualBox or other software made for this puporse for safety purposes.
1) Use the Live ISO (if your distribution of choice has one) to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything, that way, you can get to experience the GNU/Linux operating system without installing it.
2) Dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or macOS, this is recommended if you want to know more about the GNU/Linux operating system.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.

Does zsh come with a keylogger like bash does?
I thought you guys said lunix was more secure? I installed gentoo like you said and it asked if I wanted to install NSA selinux but i though only windows was backdoored?!?
Guy using osx to ssh into centos here.
Tab complete now enabled - works for commands. I can just copy and paste the filenames in terminal though for now...

Hey /g/ first time on this board. I have a question the guys at /b/ were no help with. Basically how do I track the IP from a Deactivated Instagram account? (Will Tell Story After)
>>55618427
You dont.
>>55618427
I believe what youre experiencing is the XY problem. You are asking about your attempted solution rather than your actual problem
>>55618454
>>55618481
Is it actually not that easy? Because Instagram doesn't delete there accounts they just deactivate them. The police were Involved in this situation what would they use to track a Deactivated Account?
Will anyone ever make a phone like that again? Wouldn't have to be a flagship, even current mid-range specs would be fine.
Not likely.
This is remotely similar.
>>55618397
I know someone who has the N950, he still used it last time I met him (a few months ago), he says he absolutely loves it but support these days is non-existant because the hardware is old.
I would love to have one with updated specs, same goes for first gen Motorola Droid/Milestone
Why can't someone like Oneplus take a risk and make a phone with physical keyboard, and use their clever marketing shit to make it come off as exclusive and desirable. Just imagine all the normies trying to get their hands on it
>he doesn't notice a difference between 120hz and 144hz

I'm thinking of getting an s7 edge guys, everything about the edge peeks my interest. The design especially and the functionality. I'm thinking of selling my iphone 6s and buy the s7 for a decent price. Any thoughts. If you guys have the phone tell me about your expirience with it etc.
>>55618188
the edge is a gimmick and makes interacting with the phone shit. typing sucks and accidental input is registered all the time since there's no way to hold its tiny bezels without touching the screen. Battery life is alright though. overall I'd rate it meme/10.
If you get one, don't believe it's waterproof for a fucking second or else you'll have a useless phone and have to wait three weeks for some chinks to fix it. Seriously, all I did was dunk the bottom of it in half in inch of water in a cup in a Chinese restaurant to prove it was water proof to my friends, and the thing wouldn't fucking charge for a week afterwards so I had to send it in to Samshit
>>55618217
I really like the edge, but havent really had my hands on it, my friend has it and I thought it looked nice and felt nice. Thanks for the input
A private tracker wich is like the best tracker in my country dosent use HTTPS...
I wrote in that site forums and everyone are crying:
>We don't need SSL! We are pirates!
>HTTPS won't protect us from the FBI

It's just a fiew responses I have received, but everyone dosen't like my idea. Dumb normal fags... They don't understand anything!

Can i put a normal mSD in a TF card slot?
>>55618020
Not too bad for my 8Gb one :P
Are there any pmps with 4 (micro) SD slots? I want a 512gb mp3 player and I think this would be the cheapest/easiest.
4 128gb cards would run me about 160 euros, + the cost of the device (hopefully not a lot if there's some obscure thing I can get 2nd hand).
Other option would be a hard drive, 500gb of platter costs like 40 euros but I don't think there's a lot of mp3 players that accept 2.5inch SATA?
>>55618013
either you get a iPod Classic and add a ssd or get a FiiO X5ii, it has 2 microsd slots but afaik it supports 256gb microsd cards, can't confirm on the 256gb version but the 200gb work, even on the X3ii
Would OP's pic work?
