You know what I'm talking about, /g/. We all know.
When the plastic goes from having that matte finish to getting glossy polished by a hundred thousand or more toouches of your finger against it. On some mouses, that makes it so much more difficult to get a good grip.
Is there a way to fix this? I have a perfectly good G600 mouse and I want to recoat it to stop the gloss. I tried plastidip (a kind of spray-on rubber coating) but that wore off within a few weeks. Is there another product or technique you guys would reccommend?
>>61888100
I have the same mouse and I have been using it for years, how did you fuck that up so bad? stop touching it after you cum
Do you care about appearance? Get some rough grit sandpaper and work the worn area for a couple seconds.
>>61888100
Matte finishes naturally become glossy over time the more you touch it.
What is this anti theft thing from my laptop's bios? if i enable it it may protect the laptop against jamals but will be botnet me somehow? What if i choose the permanently disable option? Will remain disabled forever?
>>61888022
It doesn't matter if you enable/disable it if you're worried about botnet, enabling only makes you have access to it, it is always able to be tracked enabled or disabled.
Is there a way to bypass my ISP's NAT without using a VPN?
All I wanted was to connect to my home server remotely
>>61887753
ssh or an encrypted reverse shell
>>61887789
I can't use SSH because of my ISP's NAT
DDNS doesn't work because of this
You're being too vague, are you trying to connect to your terminal on a university network?
How can I extend the life of my smartphone's battery?
Is it best to always have it plugged into charger as much as possible?
Should you stop charging it before it hits 100%?
There aren't any more tricks like that with using modern lithium batteries. The answer is simple now: use it less. That's it.
Now if you're storing, as opposed to using, you should store them at about 40% and check on them periodically.
>>61887740
so it doesn't matter if I use it until it hits about 10% before I charge it? I thought letting lithium iron batteries discharge that much was bad
>>61887758
It doesn't matter. They all have circuitry to prevent excess discharge.
>job requires experience and use in a proprietary software
What do?
break in at night and install gentoo on each computer
>>61887578
Refuse. Spend the rest of your life jerking to traps and shitposting.

What's going on with Terry?

New showrunners fucked up the plot, it's very boring now

It's now a Russian botnet.
>>61888534
Most likely.
But as I am shit at coding, reading code and lazy as fuck someone might have to go through it to confirm.
>>61888534
Its not a Russian botnet.
ooy /g/,
been a while, but here I remembered that old science game we used to post here daily like 5 years ago.
a simple game where you could make ridiculous stuff with basic chemical elements.
physics/chemistry stuff
well, you know, the simple 2D, black background, could make a fucking nuclear reactor etc
can't remember for shit what it was called. would totally love to play that again

Anyone here run arch with systemd removed?
been using arch recently and kinda wanna remove it
Just use Void.
Low bait, rm -fR /yourself
>>61887271
It would perfectly viable to use a system without systemd if that pile of shit under the name of consolekit wasn't needed anymore.
Is there any program which copy-pastes a bunch of threads on a new board? I'm too lazy to code one myself. I'd also like to know if there any imageboard bots for posting pre-written replies at a set time interval.
I need it for my own imageboard.
Also how does filtering phrases and words work? I'd like to load up an entire list of filters, at least over 200 phrases.
A bunch of cleverbots shitposting together would be funny.

I just wrote a script which logs into my machine via SSH, installs packages, sets up configuration, deploys new version of software and restarts the web server to pick it up. Most importantly, this can now be done with a single command.
Feels good.
>>61886852
I've been using Bosh (with cloudfoundry) up to now, but heard some good things about Ansible.
