yeah, no.
I've bought a VPN but nearly every Server is banned where I lurk. (Mostly marked as Proxy and permanently banned and some got a range ban.)
I just want to be anonymously and not banned. Is is possibly to find some "unused" Proxies or VPNs for free or 3-4$/Month?
This is a good chart, but most are fucking expensive:
https://thatoneprivacysite.net/simple-vpn-comparison-chart/
Anywhere where I can buy/pay for a month only to test without permanent subscription?

Just took a look. Is it really as safe as a VPN? How are the speeds? Is it complicated?
https://www.ovh.com/us/vps/vps-ssd.xml This offer for example. Would it be okay?

speeds are fine, if you're worried about speed digitalocean and vultr offer one click opnevpn setups
What manga reader does /g/ use on Android?
>>55749665
>looking at comic pages requires a specific software
I'm confused. Do you get your manga in a specific format? The last time I read a comic on a computer, it was a PDF.
I use imnotamanchild pro.
>>55749696
Manga is usually in images, unlike western comics which are .cbr or .cbz IIRC (including pdf)

How do I get terrabytes of torrents onto a rented server? Best way I think would be to torrent it from the server directly, but I don't think the hosting company would like that.
Is there no better way than to download it to your home pc and then upload it via ftp?
rsync.
Daily reminder this guy wrote more kernel code than Linus.
Alan started working on Version 0. There were bugs and problems he could correct. He put Linux on a machine in the Swansea University computer network, which revealed many problems in networking which he sorted out; later he rewrote the networking software. Alan brought to Linux software engineering discipline: Linux software releases that were tested, corrected and above all stable. On graduating, Alan worked at Swansea University, set up the UK Linux server and distributed thousands of systems.
Alan was the main developer and maintainer of the whole Linux kernel. He was responsible for the Version 2.2 branch, and made many special contributions (such as his own versions of the 2.4). Alan’s branch was very stable and led to the adoption of Linux in enterprises.
Linus is a self-centred asshat taking credit for everyone elses hard work. Ever since he came up with the idea for Linux.

Who /waiting for next gen/ here?
Since apparently we're not getting HBM2 until NVidia Volta and AMD Vega, and there's now rumors that Vega is being pushed forward to 2017 (albeit at the same die size as Pascal). Plus the high prices and low stock (probably due to low yields).
I don't really see the problem waiting for another year.
>>55749448
>2017
>rumor
That isn't a rumor, its the original release date shown on AMD's super vague GPU roadmap.
The rumor was that AMD pushed its release up to the end of 2016 to compete against high end Pascal.
>>55749448
Just wait till the next gen after this next gen anon
>>55749448
>there's now rumors that Vega is being pushed forward to 2017
If by "rumour" you mean "official updates AMD provides to its investors" and by "pushed forward" you mean "the actual timeline that they've been presenting this entire time"
>durr the chinese only copy, they never invent any new tech
Bet you feel so silly now.
18+
No one is arguing with you. The Chinese are also the only country to harvest millions of political dissidents' organs and the only country to build islands to extend their territorial claims. They lead the world in a lot of things, you're right.

obviously only gentoo and arch are the only reasonable options for a host operating systems.
Gentoo seems error prone as packages are compiled from source, whereas Arch keeps it simple; stupid.
I'd mostly like to here from gentoo nerds as to how it is superior to Arch. I'd like to hear about the installation process and how it differs from Arch, which only requires a simple pacstrap and some simple configuration.
is there a real difference, in the long run? i love how easy it is to find packages for arch, and I'm resisting the switch to gentoo.
>>55749427
Gotta go with Windows XP if ur into compatibility

@the anon asking if there were others who tried the newly released jailbreak: I am, feels very very good, although just some tweaks work right now
