>The only problem with Microsoft is they just have no taste. They have absolutely no taste. And I don't mean that in a small way, I mean that in a big way, in the sense that they don't think of original ideas, and they don't bring much culture into their products.
Was he right?

They also can't program for shit. Everything they make is half baked bug ridden garbage.

Nice post but useless.
The people who cares already know this, the rest just doesn't care.
Next time pass some links to EULA too, because it is all there too. Best part is when you present so much evidence, nobody even bothers to promote / shill / meme / confuse others.
The only thing which allows me to sleep at night peacefully is the reason why they are doing this: MONEY. So even if they all know this shit, nothing terrible will happens which will hurt the "average citizens".
Sometimes I wonder, if the future is really in advanced technology without any privacy and total control. Imagine a world where every part of urbanized area is constantly scanning people, vehicles, hardware, analyzing patterns, behavior and predicting any shit which might happens. Add in some very fast, automated drones with AI and maybe the terrorist attacks will end before they even start.
Another part is eugenics and health regulations. Just imagine what will happen if we ever decode our brains or DNA to an extent we can change it.
We can't put this to reality because the hardware is still expensive, but surely we are heading towards it. The possibilities are endless. Unless the kebab wins :-D
Is zandex browser a meme?
Did you mean: yandex browser?
>>55769431
No, zandez.
Are memes memes?

This thread is for friendly discussion of the Rust programming language.
Programmers of all levels are welcome to ask questions.
>What is Rust?
"Rust is a systems programming language focused on three goals: safety, speed, and concurrency. It maintains these goals without having a garbage collector, making it a useful language for a number of use cases other languages aren’t good at: embedding in other languages, programs with specific space and time requirements, and writing low-level code, like device drivers and operating systems. It improves on current languages targeting this space by having a number of compile-time safety checks that produce no runtime overhead, while eliminating all data races. Rust also aims to achieve ‘zero-cost abstractions’ even though some of these abstractions feel like those of a high-level language. Even then, Rust still allows precise control like a low-level language would."

>mfw I find out installing a custom OS isn't the same thing as unlocking a phone
So how do I unlock this piece of shit S3? I've had it rooted on Cyanogenmod for a while but I pretty much just used it as a VNC viewer. I just got a free sim for it and found out when I put it in that it's actually still locked. All of the sites offering unlock codes look shady as fuck, and I can't even remember what carrier it was on when it was gifted to me by an old friend when they upgraded their contract to a new one.
Is there a solution that doesn't involve taking the phone to one of those dingy shops run by an Indian?
Dunno search for a free unlocker. And next time don't buy a locked phone you tard. You played yourself

What's a good brand of HDDs for mass storage? Are WD greens good?
>>55768113

I have a caviar black as main drive (will move to an SSD soon), but I need something large and relatively cheap, at the cost of speed and some reliability (I won't store very important data on them).
Is there a way to extend not the wireless signal of my main modem but the wired connection of my router and make it able to connect to by wireless?

Is Stallman actually just a forged identity ?
Is he simply a man in hiding ?
They're just both fans of the 'fat fuck with no access to a sharp object' vibe.
>>55767692
Maybe Stallman was a terrorist who went into hiding
How do you know ?
>>55767656
Yes. The Free Software Movement is actually a front for a larger plan to subtly instill communist values into western countries.

I would like to have a record turntable that goes through my PC, so that I can listen to records through the same headphones that I wear to do other things, but I have a lot of questions;
How would I go about this? Would it require the amp/preamp, or some kind of a particular sound card, or could I just shove a cable into the mobo? Do I need a turntable designed for such a task - USB turntables seem to have a reputation for poor audio output so I guess it'd be preferable if the method uses an actual audio input.
I'm tentatively looking in the $/€150-300 range but if it requires more money than so be it, yes I know the Sony in the image is a lot more than that.
Thanks.
just fucking don't
get a mixer and connect your pc and your turntable seperately to it, plug phones into monitor
i do this with a dj mixer i got for <300€, no need for seperate preams
>>55768645
(I'm not op)
I am actually planning to do this.
Are you using a passive or active mixer?
I'm a bit worried about noise from an active, and a bit worried about losing too much volume on a passive one!
