All shit. Get a wap or learn to run cable. Powerline, meh.
Well, shit. What's /g/'s opinion on hybrid drives?
>>55773299
The SSDs are becoming dirt cheap.
No need to settle down for a hybrid unless you're poor.
Just get an SSD for OS/frequently used programs and an HDD for storage.
>>55773329
I'm semi-poor, but I should have at least a few months before shit breaks down, no?
I got my hands on a Dell chromebook 11. It has soldered storage, so I can't wipe it to get it out of enterprise enrollment. Anyone have any advice?
soldered storage has nothing to do with the act of resetting it
>>55773323
The way I've reset them in the past is popping in another m.2 drive. How else can you bypass it?
I actually want to buy the same chromebook 11 dell is it anygood? I just want it to have a portable to work on office documents since I'm enlisting on a new study plan on afternoons after work

Xfburn is a good lightweight alternative but it lacks some polish and extended features.

Could be something.
I just googled the chip id numbers.
why haven't you upgraded and switched to windows 10 for free?
linux faggots and mac faggots need not apply
because i'm not retarded
>>55773037
I made the mistake of upgrading my tablet, OneNote is completely unusable now because MS decided to make it the only application that's no longer designed for pen input. They even got rid of the pie menu you could easily access with the pen.
Windows 10 in general is a vastly inferior UX on tablets than 8.1, which is impressive, given Microsoft's retarded "hurr let's make everything touch" design.

Is this fuse burned out?
I've never seen a frosted fuse like that.
It's for LED TV, powers on, but no display.

Are Chromebooks /g/ approved?
Also I forgot to ask, is there much of a difference between the Intel and ARM Chromebooks? I just ordered a Lenovo n22 and wondered if the Intel processor would be a plus or a minus.
They're garbage cheap consumer laptops that have problems running linux and are by default using Google botnet
>>55772857
the intel is a plus actually
Im new to /g
Im not sure if this thread is allowed but whatever

I put 8gb of ddr3 1600mhz ram into my computer (running ubuntu server). At first I got an error when booting something about memory size error but I only got that error once and I've never gotten it again. When I go to check the memory specs on my system it shows as ddr2 800mhz, 6gb total. I know the motherboard supports 8gb and all the specs were identical to the ram I replaced. There is also no ram settings in the bios.
What could have went wrong?
Ha ha holy hell. Ddr2 won't even fit in a ddr3 slot. Wtf is your mobo.
>>55772726
Old lenovo thinkcentre desktop. I managed to get it to see the full 8gb but ubuntu is still seeing it as ddr2 clocked at 800mhz. Maybe ubuntu is just being dumb? I'm using lshw to look at my ram.
