What's with this? Do I have a virus or is 4chan accepting intrusive ads now?
>>55974065
If you are running adblockers it could be injected by your ISP.
>>55974094
Or a program, probs malware

What so special about the TPW P4-15-NB laptops, are they just bait or was there something more to it?
>a new meme is born
Saw some thread about it earlier today and it's probably bait.
Zero information about it besides some faggot spamming the same thread on both chans and just mentioning some obscure ass (imaginary) computer name.
So unless there's info about them besides muh spooky seecret computers then its just a worthless meme

What a stupid fucking question

>tl;dr explain in engineering terms how my phone can be so selectively slow
I have a samsung galaxy s5, ive had it for a year or so. the text messaging on this phone is so slow even those with the most extensive patience would grow agitated. to open a recently received message could take up to 4 minutes without exaggeration, being able to type anything in response has taken up to 11 minutes. this is every single time a message occurs, the phone loses all functionality and struggles at what im assuming is 100% CPU usage for fucking text.
how is this even possible, i seriously want to know what my phones logic is thinking and trying to do that makes it work harder for simple text than it does for on the fly facial recognition during a snapchat video with the light on.
i genuinely dont understand. please enlighten me.

It does not matter what OS you use because ultimately all anime looks the same on all systems.

That's why I run moebuntu
I have been feeling sick since last many years after I started to understand that all the advertisement are nothing but corporate propaganda and I do not wish to see them any more.
The reason I am asking this question in /tech/ is everything is running on technology.
TV, internet etc. And I pay for all the stuff to access and still I am forced to watch advertisement all over.
Can I opt out if I pay a little more or can I pay only for what I want to watch and not what they want me to watch ?
Help me out anons, and I request you please do shit in this post. I am already pissed of by advertisement.
>>55973696
Adblock. And stop watching TV.
Stop using Windows
Install an adblocker
Don't watch TV
Read books instead of magazines
>>55973696
I just use an adblocker and either torrent my media or buy it outright. I haven't seen an ad in ages.

Why does Microsoft go through the struggle of creating a million useless applications for Windows 10 that people will just want to get rid of right away ?
Why not create an OS that provides a nice framework , graphic interface , driver support and native support for my work related applications and games without all the extra BS ?
Barebone Windows when ?
Why do people who use Windows think that they have any business posting on a technology forum?
Because they're greedy idiots. I can't think of any other reason. They were born when they should have been swallowed .
I despise the seemingly endless amount of trashware on Windows 10 .
>>55973585
>a million useless applications for Windows 10 that people will just want to get rid of right away ?
Such as? Windows has the minimum functionality expected of an OS. You could ask if an OS needs to be able to play media files but that's another matter.
>Barebone Windows when ?
Windows server can be run pretty barebone. Sounds like you have no idea what you're talking about.
>>55973647
Again, what thrashware? Could you name the stuff that shouldn't be there?
What are some skype alternatives, skype just started to lag on me and it's been doing it all fucking night and it's pissing off to the point of I'm thinking about just getting rid of it.

Is there any monitors, perferly a small monitor that's around 19"-24" that can flip 90 degrees like pic related? So far it's all HD and such. Only alternative solution is getting a monitor and a different table stand that's compatable with it like some Dell monitors.
Anyone knows any inexpensive ones? I plan on using it as a system monitor, rain meter shit and reading articles.
>>55973159
holy fuck someone please answer.
Lots of them? Not sure what you mean by HD, good luck finding a non-HD monitor. You can also just buy a mount.
>>55973159
Almost any Dell can be used in portrait and has a stand that can accommodate this. If you're a poorfag with $100 to spend then I suggest you're options are Craigslist and garage sales.
>install Linux mint on my laptop
>desktop icons don't like up
>wallpaper resets itself to the default Linux mint wallpaper every time it crashes
>crashes at least once a week
>have to manually mount every new usb flash drive manually through CLI the first time I plug them in
>have to type in username an password each time I boot up
>root password is same as login password
>su stopped recognising my password after 2 weeks, now I have to sudo su each time
>Wi-Fi drops out after ~15 minutes of use
/g/ recommended Linux mint to me a month ago and I'm regretting it. Thinking of giving Linux a second chance thanks to the large variety of options I get with it.
Is there any distro that isn't a fuck up or should I go back to windows 7?
What are some easy, beginner friendly distros?
I'm not afraid of terminal and cli, but I don't want to be forced to use it for basic functionality like mounting usb flash drives.
Here's proof that I've been using mint.
>inb4 pic instead of screenshot

I had similar issues with Manjaro. I actually haven't experienced any nuisances on Arch, which you can install easily now with arch-anywhere.
Try Xubuntu.
