Nah, I'm talking about the technical point of view, not the game itself

this is what happens when you expect nvidia to do dx12
why do you need a mousepad that also goes under your keyboard?
>also what mousepad does /g/ use?
because moving the gaming keyboard causes gaming scratches on your gaming desk

Rufusl now has a working system for partitioning, formatting, a working Logger with printf() capability, a working status ticker and progress bar. Over 5000 lines of code have been modified.
It's going good.
>>55983338
I sincerely urge you to port this to snaps
What the fuck is this?

Rufus for Linux.
PS: The theme on root is bad. That is why it looks weird.

You're not forgetting to switch your monitor from horizontal to veritcal when browsing the web or programming, are you? Horizontal positioning is only for watching anime.

>>55983181
sentences are written horizontally. no need to force your screen to cut sentences when you can just scroll down.
vertical is one the most useless and pretentious things i have ever seen.
vertical is for people used to smartphones

So now that the dust has settled, can we all agree that flat design is abhorrent and ruined everything it touched?

How do you combat the plague that ruins our electronic devices of today?
>I personally use the most outrageously 3 dimensional themes available at all times

I still run OS X Mavericks and use my iPhone 4s with iOS 6
I don't care.
Nothing wrong with flat.
I met RMS once at a car show probably 10 years ago. He was doing a meet and greet with some other old stars like Gerald Sussman at a table that anyone could come up to. For some reason, I was addicted to the Free Software Foundation when I was a kid/teen. I'm 32 now so that shows how much of a social life I had. I read probably every article on his website so I was pretty excited to meet him. I politely said "hello" and "I loved GNU when I was a kid." He stared me straight in the eyes for what seemed like an eternity and didn't say one word. No expression on his face. No anything. I just kind of slowly walked away. Somehow, I've managed to meet and hang out with a lot of celebrities and bands and the goddamned Stallman experience is the one that sticks out and haunts me to this day.

>"Holey moley, he called it GNU and not 'Linux.' For the first time in a long time, someone actually called it GNU. For the first time in a long time, I didn't have to interject someone. Is this real life? Am I dreaming? Am I on the verge of a seizure? Am I dreaming? I need to perform a lucid dreaming reality check."
>>55982951
yeah, anon already beat me too it
but It caught him off guard, i'm sure he was ready to tell you to call it GNU Linux instead of just Linux, but had to stop himself
Not sure if anyone has experience with Dropbox, but I'm needing a little help. I downloaded it and installed the integrated feature and I've been dragging my TV shows there to be synced up for whenever I feel like catching up. I deleted a season (one I've seen) to see what happens. When I deleted it on the finder, it deleted it on Dropbox. How do I delete the files locally so I can download more and install more, without me losing the files on Dropbox?.
>>55982907
How about you ask this in /wsr/ or dropbox forum?
>>55982907
Stupid questions thread. Actually, this is barely technology related as it is, so you should just fuck off instead.
>>55982907
You don't. The point of dropbox is the syncing. What you need is a simple file server.
Hello /g/uys,
I want to buy a small portable laptop onto which to install Gentoo with XFCE and be able to take it with me and perform basic tasks.
Would this be a good idea? (Specs below)
Or would /g/ recommend something else? I would not want something that has more than 12.5 inches.
Also, general small laptops thread

Getting a ZOTAC AMP! 1080. Not the Extreme model. The extra OCing yields little in fps gains and doesn't justify the additional cost.
Thoughts on this particular cards?
>>55982838
Zotac makes good cards. Normally you can get the amp, omega and extreme within $10 of each other. I'd recommend their triple fan
Zotac makes good cards, but I heavily recommend the extreme edition, if you're buying a top of the line gaming GPU and the best brand, go for the top model. That fucker can overclock like a champ and puts every other 1080 to shame
>>55982943
>triple fan
This.
Also, make sure it can be physically supported by your case and motherboard.
Sagging isn't that great, and if doesn't fit, well that sucks.
