Is 1440x900 a meme res?
What are some meme resolutions?
1366x768 is THE meme res.
Anything not 1920x1080

If I touch my CPU without grounding myself, and I damage it with static electricity, is it going to be completely dead or just unstable?
Static electricity killing computer parts is a meme.

Why don't you just assemble a new AM1 build faggot? You can do one for like $120.

If I felt like spending 100 dollars I'd buy a chinkshit SBC and have some real fun you gamer. I shouldn't have to pay that much when all I require is an x86 processor, at least 1gb of ram and a working ethernet port.

Is it really bad to connect a regular non surge protected power strip to a UPS?
I have a APC UPS with 5 battery backup outlets, 4 are already taken by my PC, monitor, TV and PS4, I want to connect the last one to a power strip with 3 raspberry pi's
I found this on the official APC website
http://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/index?page=content&id=FA158852&actp=search&viewlocale=en_US&searchid=1471055964751
>Schneider Electric recommends against the use of any surge protector, power strip or extension cord being plugged into the output of any APC Back-UPS and Smart-UPS products. This document will explain why.
>Surge protectors filter the power for surges and offer EMI/RFI filtering but do not efficiently distribute the power, meaning that some equipment may be deprived of the necessary amperage it requires to run properly causing your attached equipment (computer, monitor, etc) to shutdown or reboot. If you need to supply additional receptacles on the output of your UPS, we recommend using Power Distribution Units (PDU's). PDUs evenly distribute the amperage among the outlets, while the UPS will filter the power and provide surge protection. PDUs use and distribute the available amperage more efficiently, allowing your equipment to receive the best available power to maintain operation.
>No mention of regular power strip
The cheapest PDU I found was $34 fucking dollars, most are at-least up to $100
https://www.amazon.com/Power-Distribution-Unit-Rack-PDU/dp/B008XKOTYW/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1471058309&sr=1-2&keywords=rack+power+distribution+unit
Is this for real or are they just trying sell you expensive shit? has anyone tried connecting a regular power strip to a UPS before?
Those PDUs are just glorified power strips, a real PDU will regulate a larger voltage/current input for smaller current/voltage outlets.
>>56054364
If it's just a regular power strip then it's okay as long as you don't exceed the wattage rating of the UPS.
>>56054364
>PC, monitor, TV and PS4
Only one of those needs to be on a UPS for safe shut down to protect stored data. The other three can be claimed on house contents insurance if something blows. In fact, unless you've got something really really important on the PS4, it doesn't need to be on the UPS either.
Question. How could I run i2p through a socks proxy?

Is it just me, that hates how thin phones are now? Seriously, I'd much rather a phone was twice as thick, for just a small amount of extra battery life. I usually get thick cases, just because it's easier to hold, and doesn't feel like it will smash to pieces, if i hold it too hard.
>>56054306
This is why phones with removable batteries exist. A Note 4 with a 10,000 mAh zerolemon battery sounds perfect for you.
>hold it too hard
>>56054335
I don't mind bad battery life, I always carry around my power bank. One of the bricks.

Pic related, got banned from Garry's autistic game and it seems it's a hardware one. How do I get around this? Changing volume IDs on hard drives? Editing Machineguid? Reformatting? All of the above? I've heard taking a hardware component out and putting it back in after restart gives a new HWID.
Solutions to this might also interest privacy people who don't want their hardware tracked.

I won this sick looking case, but it's a mid-tower and has only has spots for two fans. I mean, as much as I'd like to take advantage of it's sexy aesthetics, I don't want to overheat my components and try to squeeze my parts into this bitch.
What should I do? Is it worth much? Should I man up, buy a smaller cpu cooler and get my parts into this ho or just sell it?
