I want to buy an Chuwi HI8 Pro.
Is it a good choice ?
I'd say no. It seems the HI8 Pro tablet has always been a bit of a lottery. And while the old HI8 was great at first, they're now coming out with a rather high emmc failure rate.
Ask around at some forums (techtablets and the chuwi support forums) to get more info on current production quality, but I'd suggest you go with something like the teclast tablets, even if they are a bit more expensive.
The hibook seems to be quite solid, but it's a larger size and price.
>>56062777
No, it's infested with problems. Dig around the chinkshitgeneral wiki and it will tell you to stay away.
Just spend a few bux more and buy a windows10 tablet from amazon do the same thing
>>56064544
Any example ?
Who React Native here?
What are you working on?
>>56062747
I don't like the JSX syntax, it's ugly as hell.
Xamarin with XAML is much better.
>>56065195
does xamarin provide the same service though and the same type of support and documentation?
>make own web framework, because I'm awesome
>no SEO at the moment renders on the front end from Ajax calls and append statements
>build another library/framework that loads jsx files using react core
>worried jsx won't render with the bbcode JavaScript library I'm using
>Otherwise, my website becomes an iframe loaded from the backend
On the other hand, do I need SEO? I don't actually care about traffic. Getting jobs is shitty where I live (as everywhere that's as lefty at this city) so it's just a blog without WordPress which looks really bad if you're applying for programming jobs.
My main issue is react doesn't always play nice with regular JS.
>>56066871
Documentation for react is shit.
I just don't think it does the same thing though.
stupid question, I'm trying to connect to a specific site through https. None of my browsers can connect to said site; I basically get error 107. My software is dated by like 5 years. So, it's old but I don't think that's the issue. I can connect to said site through a network not my own so I know the site is not down. I don't have a packet sniffer installed to see exactly what's going on. But it must have to do with one of my certificates, right?
>>56062573
did you try a not 5 year old browser
>>56064563
yes, I wrote that I used another network with current browsers and it connects. but this site was I able to connect with maybe a month or so ago with my home network and old software. there's been no changes in a firewall or anything like that.
Error 107 is an error for being unable to actually make an SSL connection. Are you able to access other sites with HTTPS like this site here?
Any Russian/Chinese bros here?
Can you overthrow your government and launch some armed rockets into orbit to kick-start Space Race 2.0?

None of them are Fucking anything let alone Fucking a stable. What stables do you Fuck op?

Avg is adware
Wangblows is botnet
Autism is faggots
>>56062361
Nothing to explain, it's true.
>>56062361
>AVG flag is Windows flag upside down
wtf why hasn't Microsoft sued them
Dat butthurt holy shit
I think it's acceptable to be butthurt over a really shitty filesystem that's over two decades old. ext3,4 and even HFS is better than that shit.
>>56062316
Thank you for correcting the record™
You know, this really isn't butthurt. It's more like annoyed sarcasm. Examples of true butthurt include Bill Gates's open letter to hobbyists, as well as Balmer's claim that Linux/FOSS are a virus
Why aren't you using a vertical mouse? It's like you enjoy being uncomfortable.
>>56062295
>Literally jerking off a peripheral
>>56062295
What the fuck is that monstrosity? Just use a mouse with a trackball like a functional human being.
Because they're utterly fucking pants on head retarded. The angle reduces fine wrist movement precision while still forcing strain on your wrist and hand only the side rather than bottom.
If I want something comfy I use a thumb trackball and for more precision a regular mouse. A thumbball works for 99% of everything since your hand and arm don't move it's easier to stay in a resting position.
Which one is better?
PGS
GPD Win for sure
Someone saw the Pyra, went "what a load of bullshit" and used modern hipster tactics to make their own version, and make it popular.
Looks better, has better specs and doesn't cost as much as my right fucking testicle.
>>56062569
Holy shit, it's only 300 bucks, smartphones btfo
Windows XP 64-bit is objectively the greatest OS ever made.
People love to use the word objectively to try and justify their non existent argument.
>>56062160
Enjoy your driver problems.
No, it's fucking not. Lacks massive compatibility per many applications.
Considering MIT license ships with copyright mention, does that mean that I can as a copyright holder change the license at will but others can't?
>not using GPLv3
>copyright holder change the license
Yes, if you're the copyright holder, you can change the license to whatever you want. However, if anyone else has commited code to your repo, they're still under the original license.
However, any released copies of previous versions before the license change as still be under that original license.
>>56062312
So if someone contributes I can't close it anymore? Then how does that differ from GPL, the Jewish plot to enslave humanity?
What's the best torrent client?
Objectively qBittorrent.
Deluge is also respectable.

Microsoft is going to release a patch to win 10 that will give Windows users access to bash and will be able to run Linux binaries natively.
Big step for Microsoft in my opinion. But I'm not sure if the source is reliable.

'sup /g/, help me out will you?
So here's the situation: I have a GTX780, so far I have no problem with it honestly, I have to tweek the settings a bit from time to time but it still runs everything on semi-ultra at 1080p 60 fps.
We're clearly not there yet with 4k technology and I wouldn't really buy a graphic card for that now, but I was thinking about building a decent PC for my gf, the idea was to put my 780 in her PC and get me a 1060 to be safe for a couple of years and then make the jump to 4k when you can buy a good graphic card for <500 eur.
She actually isn't in a hurry to get a new PC so what do you think? Should I get a 1060 now for 250 euros and a new graphic card in 2 years for 500 euros or wait a year and buy the next 1180 or 1080ti or whatever for 700 hoping it will run 4k decently?
If she isn't in a hurry to get a new PC then why did you make this thread?
>>56062057
Because I could still make her one now, and in a couple of years I'm afraid the 780 will be too obsolete.
>>56062099
The 780 is basically dead because nvidia abandoned Kepler, if it runs today's games at 1080p 60fps then that's the best it's gonna get.
Do you both play graphically intensive games like Skyrim, Doom, etc?
