Why's this browser so fucking garbage
Slow as garbage and half the time when I watch a youtube video the video plays but there's no fucking VIDEO, just audio
>>56137121
Wat? I use this all the time & luv it
Install gentoo.
>>56137164
Well when I watch youtube video's, takes like 5 seconds to load them before playing and sometimes I get a black screen with audio, and have to keep refreshing until the video fucking shows
I was thinking about going back to 18.5" monitor and 720p gaming, that would still look like 1080p on a 24", because the screen is smaller.
>>56137052
What year is it? I mean, I was on 768 back in 1999 because my TNT couldn't push 1200 in most games, but I'm pretty sure this is now the 21st century, right?
>>56137080
Are you feeling bad because "fitting in" is more expensive than "not having to fit in"? Too bad I'll never know that feel, can't understand your feelings and help you : ^(
>>56137052
That would be fine although some people prefer a bigger screen to game on/actually get tasks done on the desktop.

>not a single licensee for MIPS Warrior P-series cores, ImgTec's hope for competing in the smartphone SoC space
>largest MIPS licensee, Qualcomm Atheros, decide to use ARM in its next-gen wireless router chips
Is MIPS kill?
It's royalty free and open source, isn't it? So how could it ever be kill? There will always be applications for a truly free chip.
MIPS has been dead for more than a decade
>>56136757
>It's royalty free and open source
Haha, no.
Let's see if anyone here is smart enough to solve this puzzle. What do the waves correspond to?
There seem to be 7 waves. Each wave repeats some 10 values.

I can run most games on max settings, but I have a 390 and I won't be able to do 144 fps for pretty much anything unless it's something like Rocket League. Help me out here /g/.
>>56136681
From your post alone, no, it's not worth it. Just get a good IPS 1440p screen for the same or less cost.
>>56136704
Any recommendations? Here is a Speccy just in case.
>>56136681
144hz isn't just for gaming, it's also for the desktop experience. Well worth it if your desktop is the only thing the monitor can run at 144hz.
How do you go about making your password(s) fully secure? I know some websites offer suggestions like adding 1 number but what do you do?
Bare minimum or extra mile?

>domainmonthofmybirthcreatorofdomain"+"anameofabook
Use a password manager.
use a password manager, or
use a word dictionary with N entries, generate K random numbers in the range of N such that log2(N^K) > 40 or ideally more, and then memorize the resulting funny phrase
I need a VPN so I can do some stuff what VPN do you guys prefer?
NordVPN has been my go to. for the last couple years. It's easy to find an online coupon code to get their service for ~$30/year. Setup is stupid easy too.
Look up some reviews of them.

Is information the most valuable asset humans possess?
Although computers have allowed mankind to grow and develop faster than ever before by helping us carry out certain manual tasks in a more efficient manner, their biggest and most common use seems to be merely that of sending information to each other faster and easier than we were ever able to do so in the past. Is this the most important help computers have lend to humans? The ability to trade information more efficiently? Is information the most valuable resource humans have?
mobility is the most valuable asset
>>56136357
Care to elaborate?
No. Freedom is.
Fucking Linux. How do I install GPU drivers for GMA3600? There is no real documentation and people on forums tell me to install ubuntu 12.04 because the driver package was only released for this system and never ported to anything newer. I don't want to be stuck with an acient kernel.
>>56136345
install gentoo
>>56136520
No support nor documentation for Gentoo 2D acceleration is not good enough for me.
>>56136345
It was merged with AMD open source drivers.

Is OP's picture true?
>>56136360
yes the circle on the right was simply scaled
look at eh fuzzy edges
>>56136360
The bottom of the left is aligned to the bottom of the right, and the top of the left is not aligned with the top of the right. So no, it is not true.
Thoughts on this.

Awesome pic, great post.
Laptop for faggots.
Was it based?
I remember seeing it back in 2009 and being blown away. Was it better than the iphone 3GS?
Is this one of those "tech which you were too poor to buy when it was new but wanted it badly" threads?
>>56136225
As an oldfag I must say, I owned a true smarphone before Iphone even existed. Apple invented jack shit.
>>56136126
I had one of these. The design was nice, but they became deprecated very quickly with updates, and the app support was shit compared to iOS back then.
