why the fuck does Firefox lag so fucking much at my home pc, but works perfectly on my work PC?
what the fuck, the PCs are almost the same spec, firefox at work is ver. 45, at home is the latest.
Same extensions except I have 4chanX and 2 more userscripts at home. Fucking piece of shit starts lagging at like 15 tabs, meanwhile at work I had like 60 tabs opened at one point, didn't even notice

So, guys, starting september-october I need a windows laptop. I read about pascal architecture graphics cards, which are supposed to be the shit and I think i'm gonna wait to get the new thinkpad t4xx which should have it.
I know you guys are all over the T420, but it might be a bit too slow in the long run. Nevertheless, I was thinking of getting one and using it for some time until the new one comes out and I can buy it.
do you think the i7 with the nvidia graphics card will run solidworks? Should I upgrade the ram to 8 gigs? what about an ssd? I'm not much of a gamer, I might play some half life or CS, so I don't think I'll need to worry about that

I have carpal tunnel. In order of comfort (as in, least pain/tingly awfulness) I'd personally rate them:
Graphics Tablet > Trackpoint > Trackball > Touchpad > Regular Mouse
With graphics tablet and trackpoint occasionally swapping places. Trackball is the best if you actually want to get work done.

Does the nsa have a device that allows them to trap a hard drive or ssd or ram in a quantum bubble and duplicate the data stored on the memory on a similar device thats entangled with your hardware? I think they do and if they don't then they need to step up their game.
