So let's talk CPU coolers. I am going to be doing a mATX build in the next month or so but can't decide on a CPU cooler.

Because of the limited space, I've considered getting a Corsair iH100 all-in-one cooler, but i am paranoid that the thing is gonna leak and fuck everything up.

What are your experiences with all-in-one coolers?

AIOs are far less likely to leak than custom water coolers, mostly because they are tested before they leave the factory.

if you get the Corsair H100i you should buy other fans because the corsair fans are really really loud.

So from what I hear, the 3 GB version doesn't really deserve the name "1060", as opposed to the 6 GB version. How do these two really differ from each other compared to other cards in the 10 series? Which one is the most equivalent to previous xx60 cards? Do all the benchmarks only refer to the 6 GB version (unless explicitly stated otherwise)?

0-100$ = 750 Ti
100-150$ = 950 (about 50% faster than 750 Ti)
150-200$ = 470 (about 70% faster than 950)
200-250$ = 480 (about 5% faster than 470)
250-300$ = 1060 (about 10% faster than 480)
300-350$ = 1060
350-400$ = 1070 (about 40% faster than 1060)
400-450$ = 1070
450-500$= 1070
500-550$ = 1070

Should still be 470, no reason to waste more money for 5%

Obviously, I simply inserted the card per price bracket.

In reality the 470 should be top value per dollar overall.

What the fucking fuck is this piece of shit "code"?

var numbers = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5], sum = 0;
forEach(numbers, function(number) {
sum += number;
});
console.log(sum);
// → 15

Where the hell does the number variable come from?

>>
>>56173690
it's a parameter for the anonymous function used by forEach

dumb frogposter
>>
>>56173690
it's a function parameter for the anonymous function callback

function(number){
sum += number
}
>>
you probably arnt a programmer so ill try to explain this in words you understand.

the anon function "function" is being declared in the call to ths function "forEach". like any function definition the arguments to the function have names and the name of its argument is being declared as "number". anon function are special and they have access to variables from the surrounding scope thus sum does not need to be passed as an argument. "forEach" on ths otherhand iterates through the array "numbers" passing each element to the function "function".

hope that helps

if you've already used a c like language extensively you can pretty much say you "know" any language and just learn it as you use it. everyone programs with reference docs and google anyway
>>
When you're learning you'll heavily reference manuals
When you're proficient you'll heavily reference manuals
When you've mastered a language you'll heavily borrow code from things you've already done and shit you stole from github and bitbucket while also referencing manuals
