there were always android alternatives to their phones in that price range. nobody bought them, and thus no developer made apps for them. nokia did not focus on being better or a viable alternative, it focused on being different and it failed. they should have adopted android and go from there.

Agreed. The test results look pretty legit, but there's quite a bit of variance in SAR reduction over frequency and handset model. Would have been nice to see several units of each handset tested for consistency, slightly different placements of the device on each handset to see how that affects the results, etc.
I'm wondering if the device is essentially just reflecting a certain amount of power to create destructive interference in the direction of the head.
