What backpack/messenger bag do you use for your job/college?
>>56205381
Plastic bag
>>56205381

I dont carry much but it looks cool idk im a sucker.
How much of a cuck are you if you have to take a backpack to your job?
So I wanna make a budget MicroATX build, thinking of buying a optiplex 780 and a 750 ti.
Or should I just build from scratch.
Build from scratch is the obvious choice. Cheaper and you'll have more control of where the money goes.
Have worked with the Optiplex series PC's in the school I work for. Absolute shit PC's with shitty cases.
>8GB RAM Max Cap unless you buy a new CPU
>No space for a good GPU
>Only enough space for 2 3.5" Drive's
>2 ODD Drive cages are good tho
>Opening the case feels fucking majestic.
>>56205807
I have no idea why these things have so few 3.5" drive bays with all the empty space inside the case.
I set a spare Optiplex up at work as a NAS and had to just stack the drives on top of each other with a post-it on the case telling people not to move it.
How do I get my cities local telephone companies fiber near me sooner? I checked their map and they only have a few spots at the moment but one of them is the old folks home and apartments 3 streets over. They say they'll wire the entire city by 2020 but I can't wait that long when the infrastructure in my neighborhood is falling apart and I can't even keep a solid connection throughout the day.
Can I petition the company? Pay extra to have it built here sooner? Email the CEO? Call tech support? Or am I stuck just waiting?
>>56205220
This is the dumbest thread I've seen on g today.
>>56205249
I just want a good internet connection anon.
My internet actually cut out again while I'm typing this. Can I force them to fix it? Can I sue for the shit infrastructure on their side?
>>56205274
You idiot.
Either pay more for your connection or stop winning. They are the ISP with the final say. As a consumer of their product, your opinion truly means nothing.
is this a good overclock?
im wondering because ive never overclocked and how do i enable the voltage control? cant go over this or i crash
>>56205189
>how do i unlock voltage control
If you're too stupid to read you're too stupid to overclock
>>56205189
>or i crash

>>56205189
Enable voltage control with a checkbox in the settings

How has your house not burnt down yet
PSU'S are a meme just like nvidia cards are.
>tfw it's easier now to just use youtube playlists from your browser that someone else already put together to listen to albums than fire up your file browser, navigate to your music, and hunt down the album you wanted to listen to
dumb anime poster
>not just letting Youtube pick its own
It seems to do really well with Vocaloid music.
>press remapped thinkvantage button to open foobar
>press play button
ok
How does /g/ deal with stress at their technology related jobs?
I like this field but it seems like no matter what job I have there is an immense amount of stress. Maybe I'm the problem but this field also seems to churn and burn people pretty hard; if not the company then the field provides constant pressure since you have to keep up with how fast everything seems to move.
What field is it?
I'm sure janitorial IT shit and software engineering both fall under "tech".
>>56204934
>with how fast everything seems to move.
I assume you're a cable monkey trying to keep up with the latest meme of the month CMS, frameworks, and devops shitware
if you're in IT get a real career

Why do people dislike the ISO enter key?
On ANSI too many times do I find myself hitting the backslash key on accident when typing in urls/passwords which is annoying.
>>56204588
Is that worse than hitting the enter key by accident?
>>56204660
how do you hit it by accident?? how fat are your fingers?

I have never used Linux before and was wondering which distro I should use. I don't want to get comfortable in a "beginner" distro just to move because it doesnt have the capabilities of other distributions. Any insight appreciated.
