As some people that follow my blog or read it on planet.debian know I was
approached at Debconf to found a Debian LGBTIQA+ support/exchange group.
I started to create #debian-diversity on OFTC (irc.debian.org) for
initial discussion possibility, but I think to kickstart the group a
proper IRC meeting will be needed.

So here we are. Given that in the next two weeks I'm kinda flexible I
started to create a doodle poll for the time for such a meeting:

http://doodle.com/poll/twczqyg4ry48fab7

I know that the times are pretty Europe centric but hope that people
from all around the world might be able to join nevertheless. Given
that this is the first meeting to get things started I guess this is a
compromise we would have to live with.

The invitation to join the discussion and the group is open to everyone
and noone should assume orientation or preferences from anyone joining
the IRC channel and especially the discussion. The purpose of the first
meeting is clearly on what we as a collective soul expect from the
group, which communication channels we would like to have, and what name
we would like to settle on. Diversity is only a working title that is
definitely up for discussion.

A preliminary agenda for the meeting is also available, feel free to
add to it as you see fit, but don't expand it too much yet, we want to
have things still left to do for the meeting. :)

https://titanpad.com/debian-diversity-meeting-1

I know this might come a bit short of a notice, and feel free to send
me your input in a private response; if you want to discuss this
publicly I would guess debian-project might be the mailinglist for that
for the moment.

Enjoy, and thanks for your support!

Dear Debian women;

It is with great esteem and supreme pleasure that I
am here tonight to inform you that I hate you, your
guts, and every female on earth who shares the desire
to rebel against men, to disrespect men, and/or to
take the creations of men and claim them as the
creation of women or a joint creation of man and
woman.

From this high vantage point it seems that whenever
men make something great, after a time, worthless
pro-women's rights females come to latch on to that
creation and claim it as a triumph of womankind. These
whores (an assumption, yes, though I doubt any of you
were virgin wives, if wives at all) cannot allow man
to stand alone in his technical abilities above
females, females who are used to having everything
handed to them due to their "angelic" sex. Now we have
debian-women, a feminist group that has latched on to
debian by virtue of men's guilt for not failing to
achive as woman has failed to achieve (or perhaps men
not giving a damn either way, and humoring you with a
mailing list) and demands that debian take on usless
husks to even out it's male to female developer ratio.

You disrespect men who are opensource/freesoftware
developers such as I by comparing your worthless
selves to us, the true achivers. You moan and drop
loads of feces, we churn out code. With this in mind I
cordially invite you to have an auto accident. I hope
it does not kill you, but instead rips your digits
off, aswell as cause you to be blind. If this does
happen, and I wish such to come to pass, I will visit
and smile.

opensource/freesoftware movement can be found here:

stallman is not a philosophically pure person. he follows his ideals when convenient, and ignores them or slightly alters them when the conflict isn't worth it.

stallman is an egoist in denial, afraid of admitting that he just wants some fucking source code instead of a world where he has to rely on other people because he knows he wouldn't get it that way.

his system has some practical merits but his attempts at creating moral justifications are completely pathetic and nonsensical. how low do you have to be to have to make up bullshit "oughts" when you can just say "it would be fucking better"?

Switching from fx-6100 to fx-8350 soon, what should I expect in terms of everyday use and video games?
20 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
Basically nothing, all the FX series have identical single core performance.

If you have an FX-6100 clocked at 4.5GHz, getting an FX-8350 and clocking it at 4.5GHz will feel identical in almost everything.

Most games use 1-4 cores. the FX-6100 is already 6 cores, meaning most games wont even use all of it's cores, moving to 8 cores means you're gonna have 4 cores unused now, wow, so much power.
>>
>>56228960
Wait for Zen.
Buying another FX series chip right now is a waste of money.
>>
>>56229108
But my motherboard is AM3+
And my fx-6100 runs at 3.3 'cause I don't know shit about overclocking
