C'mon guys, let's talk about something more important that windows, linux or osx.
Let's talk about Satan itself, aka SAP.
This fucking corporation (SAP SE) has been ruling the enterprise world for over 20 years and nobody is able to reach it at this point.
This is far worse than M$ or else, cause here there are no alternatives
>>56230349
but their website has happy photos of little negro boys, surely they have our collective best interests in mind
>>56230349
What does SAP even do? I hear lots of people complaining about it, but I can never quite figure out what exactly the software is for.

Anyone know of any good mATX motherboards? I'm going to be doing an mATX build some time soon and i've decided on everything apart from the mobo, i wanna get a i5 6600K so preferably a board that is decent for OCing
Are you running SLI?
Air or water cooling on GPU's?
Budget?
>>56230382
probably no SLI to begin with.
most likely aircooling on the GPU
i think my overall budget will be around £850, which means i have like £150 or so for the mobo, of course i'll stretch a little higher if i feel it's worth it

Why should I spend more?
I'll give you exactly ten seconds to post one good reason why you haven't ditched old, withering mechanical hard drives for solid state drives.

I'm staying for 1 year at this place so I want to make it at least a bit comfortable. I stand for the most part of my job so I'd like something nice to relax on when I get home to use my pc.
So /g/, it looks too good to be true. Should I? Should I not?
>it looks too good to be true
Gross. You have low standards. Get out please.

>temporary 1 year chair
>probably not going to be able to take it back
What do you expect me to get? A 100 quid one that I'll leave for the next guy to simply take?
Also, for just 5 more I found this one off of amazon.
>>56230333
1 year is more than enough to develop a bad posture from a terrible chair and end up with a collapsed/enlarged disk causing back issues. Read reviews on a chair or go sit in one in person to get the feel of it, make sure you have a good comfortable posture in it.
I bought an android phone and when I bought it it was perfect. The chrome browser had an interface that allowed everything to be a different tab so I could play music and lurk and do things with one device. Now it changed randomly to the same bullshit that my other phone had wherezi can't use youtube with other tabs.
Now I know they have the technology for this why are they such assholes about it? How do I revert this back?
Are you talking about this, the "merge tabs and apps" option? They removed that option back in June with Chrome 51.
http://venturebeat.com/2016/06/08/chrome-51-for-android-arrives-with-improvements-to-scrolling-and-battery-life-removes-merged-tabs/
>>56230284
why did they remove that? it's a nice feature
>>56230284
Yeah I think so.
Is there any way to get that back?
I just bought a new phone so it probably sat there before june than it updated.
So now what do I do?
Just signed up for gigabit trial through my ISP.
Besides seeding Linux ISOs, what else can I do to take advantage of this opportunity?
>>56230175
Porn. Lots of porn.
Download every single 1080p video on Eporner.
>>56230195
That's what my buddy said too. Guess I need a new hard drive.
What was your first distro /g/? Pic related, mine was Ubuntu and I was young and wanted to dual boot with Windows but ended up reformatting everything and it took me a week to fix, because I knew nothing about computers.
Slackware, along with all 40+ 3.5 inch floppies.
*Shudder*. What was I thinking.
Started with Mint having no idea about GNU/Linux. Got interested in it really quick and wiped MS Windows almost straight away. Then got rid of Mint for being trash and distrohopped endlessly, I have a home in Debian for now
started from the bottom now debian
Best accepted thing to do with rpi(123]
https://retropie.org.uk
but install raspbian and compile it or install it from there. That way you can rock a fun little server when you want and tinker with it, and when you feel like playing vintage arcade and emulator games sit on the couch with you're xbox, logitech or ps3 controller and have fun with retropie on your big tv

pi would make a perfectly fine seedbox for 95% of people

So you made a thread about how you bought a used case for 40 bucks and you want anons on a board about technology to congratulate you?
Why are you so lonely?
Where is your mom?
How much do you think it will cost?
Your house.
Hope you have insurance.

Same as the previous generation of Fury GPU's.
Can we get an old / abandoned website / net culture thread? perhaps we can add a dash of cyberpunk too?
Turns out a lot of content from w2.eff.org is still up, including this guide dated September 1994.

You can find everything hosted by using site:w2.eff.org in google (or a google proxy)

>>56229816
>Is the Oculus shaping up to be the biggest flop in videogame history?
No.
It's works very well for sim racing, or any other cockpit game where you sit in the game.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlFKjWGxZqk
And since you're sitting anyways, you don't need all that additional Vive room tracking shit that only adds to the price.
From what I'm reading Oculus actually has better image quality than Vive, and in simulation games that's literally all that matters.
Also VR porn

Experience this yourself yet anon?
Thinking about buying a GTX 1070, but they are still way above the $379 price goal NVIDIA announced back in the day.
So how quick did they decrase in the previous generations?
>>56229799
I'd like to know. The 1080 is still way above the price goal
Dropping soon in here as the dollar devalues :3
>>56229874
It doesn't work like that, anon.
