Whats stopping Intel from just Jewing AMD again if Zen is succesful?
>posting the /reddit/ frog
Jeez man, I was almost gonna post a serious response. What a fucking huge turn off.
>>56234244
It will continue to be posted for as long as /r9k/ exists, it's one of the few boards that still tolerate it.

>>56234151
I feel you. I got one because I work with high frequency switching circuits and RF astable oscillators a lot in my line of work.
Get an old analog one from the 80s/90s. They're neat, cheap, and they'll last a long time.

it does seem kinda cramped, but good on you for having a workshop as opposed to the "man cave" full of children's toys most people on here have

Even if you managed to make a low observability plane, you can't fly it as the controll tower has to be able to see you.
That's also assuming the GoV doesn't stomp down ur door and shoot you.

Should I get a hobby in computer programming and computers in general ???
I've always had an interest in them but is it worth investing time into ??
No. It's a huge waste of time and they are boring as fuck.
Just use computers as tools to access information (a task which they kick ass at).
>>56234066
Are you looking for some magic answer? If you want something of value you have to earn it.
Well that depends, do you find it interesting? What attracted me to programming is being able to create something from nothing. I got into it this summer and want to make a career out of it, which is why I'm going to pursue a degree in Computer Science.

>Per the site, NVIDIA plans to release two variants of the GeForce GTX 1050 -- one with 2 GB of memory and one with 4 GB of memory. Additionally, the report claims that the 1050 will serve as the successor of the current GeForce GTX 950 and that the company intends to price these parts "aggressively."
>If this report is accurate, I could see the graphics specialist setting the suggested retail price for the 4 GB model at around $159 (pricing of the GTX 950 at launch) and the 2 GB model (potentially with disabled graphics processors, as in the 3 GB variant of the GTX 1060 relative to the 6 GB version) somewhere between $119 and $139.

But this is a thread about BSD, not the abortion Apple turned their BSD-like into.
>>56234147
At least one guy per thread likes to post FUD about FBI backdoors in BSD, specifically OpenBSD which was never proven making it FUD.
>>56234164
Some ""bugs"" were actually found and gotten rid of as soon as it went public.

what is the job description of an Interaction Engineer?
Guys, I'm not into pc hardware and I need your help to build a new machine to fit my needs.
I want a good system capable to be upgraded in the near future for 4K gaming, when the new GPUs will come, but at the moment I'm fine with 1080p gaming (high details).
Required: 1 x SSD (250 gb is ok) , 1 x 2 tb HD , Nvidia graphics.
TL;DR = Good 1080p gaming performance, strong base for achieve the 4K in the near future without bottlenecks if possible.
Thank you.

then enjoy your perfect linux desktop

How mobilephones have so shitty support? OEM's drop support like in 1 year or in some cases even less. For example I still receive all updates to my 10 year old chinkpad.
I have picture related and android 6.0 was the last update it will get.
>>56233738
HTC......plz die
>>56233738
They want you to buy a new phone. Root that shit and use custom ROMs once you no longer get official support.
>>56233797
>They want you to buy a new phone
fucking jews
>>56233779
Happens with all manufacturers. Flagships get 2 years of support at most.

Why doesn't that fuckhead linus spend less time making youtube videos and actually put work towards linux?
Inb4 some freetard tries to defend this shit. Managing USB devices is awful shit in Linux. Rufus works every time while I can't even reformat a flash drive in Linux

You can't reformat a flash drive, kek

Should I take the Linus bait?
I have an upgrade coming up and I am torn between the s7 and the p9. The p9 is a lot cheaper! Is the s7 really worth the extra? Are there any new handsets out in september I should hold off for?
>>56233653
Not really.
P9 is better value, but why do you need a flagship?
If you're worried about value why aren't you looking at the midrange instead? Shit like redmi note 3 pro or 1+ 3, or an oppo
>>56233675
>>56233675
not op. what do you think/know about the p8 lite? pls
>>56233675
I do enjoy some mobile gaming, emulators and shit like final fantasy mobius, if the p9 is able to run that I'm golden. Do midrange phones last? Need this to still be alive in 2 years time
