/g/ I need help with ASUS routers.
I have used TP-Link since forever, and the older models (1043ND) are might devices, the newer ones are pretty awful.
So I'm thinking about ASUS.
The problem:
- I have to set up a guest wifi for customers, they would get a simple password for a WPA2 network, and they would get unrestricted net speed.
- I want to have a passwordless network, same guest idea, with limited speeds.
- I want to have a normal WPA2 network for the inner network.
Now I know (from watching Youtube vids) that most ASUS routers can do this, can have up to 6 guest networks or so.
But how do I have one limited open one, and one not or barely limited one? Like, in TP-Link, you just have ONE guest network, and you can set network speeds there. That's it.
But how do I do this on an ASUS?
Pic related, its my current candidate.
bumperino.
no one has an ASUS router?
Just install tomato or openwrt
>customers
go and buy an ubiquiti, dont use a home router for that

do you also stream 4k videos you record with the camera straight to the botnet microsoft cloud?
Holy shit some phones are recording in 4k 120FPS already, not mentioning 8k.
I did. Using 4gb of 128gb.
Why did I do this.

>Still using Windows in 2016
What the fuck is wrong with you people? Do you not realize that it is just an instrument of control and surveillance? Why would you willingly submit to having every activity performed on the OS recorded and archived for government agencies, software + advertising companies, as well as hackers, should they get their hands on the data?
Of course, no one replies.
How typical of the brainwashed denizens of /g/.
I don't fucking like it, but I have to use it since most of the programs I use are on Windows. No choice my friend, although I did start using Linux at home.
i don't care

Hi /g/.
I know this isn't tech support or anything but I'm a bit lost on where to look for help.
Bought a second monitor. Nothing fancy. HDMI, VGA and DVi input. But when I restart my computer it throws this message at me and it won't detect it if I plus it in after I start either.
I'm sure I used to have a small TV attached years ago and it worked fine but I can't figure out why this won't work or how to rectify it.
Any help or a point in the right directions would be greatly appreciated.
Do what it says you stupid cunt
>>56244521
But I did. My single monitor was always connected this way.
But when I plug in a second via HDMI or VGA, it doesn't detect it was for whatever reason.
>>56244521
Yeah shouldn't be that hard, plug both monitors into the add-in GPU Not the motherboard.

I really like it for general use.

Gentoo, for 13 years, before ever going on /g/
>reason why you chose it
USE flags, applying patches, writing ebuilds is easy, Hardened Gentoo, weird install layouts (raid, encryption, etc.).
I'm a control freak.
Also this was the first distro I could really make work when it was not that easy to install on every machine.
Would not recommend to non-programmers.

Agreed. I also use Debian and Arch for various purposes.
Arch, XFCE.
once you AUR you never go back.
Does anyone get worried by things like pic related? It doesn't seem sustainable.
