Dont get me wrong i like amd. I currently using a r9fury and one of my servers is using a fm2 athlon. Just dissapointed because i cant upgrade anything with amd parts. So its basically swap to nvidia or stay in the stoneage.

36-46" is the perfect monitor size for 4k depending on your viewing distance so you don't have to do any GUI scaling just to read text.

Windows scaling is quite good, Steam and Skype fixed theirs, only Origin still has a shit scaling.
28" 4K is a good size, same PPI as my old 1080p 15W laptop display.
Hey /g/, I installed a new ferrocore for my VXR6 quite recently but none of the delta fragments are functioning as I need them to. I tried translipicating the boson quads, but that just caused a meltdown on the cusisitator and the only thing still left running is the oscillitator but i don't even think that's verifying the JP8 results properly. Was hoping you guys could give me some advice before I head to radioshack.

I am about to replace windows 10 for Android 6. 0 on my laptop.
Intel i7
6gb of ram
Intel HD 4000
500gb hard drive
What do you guys think?
I am tired of windows 10 and Ubuntu so I decided to install Android as my main os since I use my computer for entertainment rather than work.
Android apps and system notification are pretty comfy.
Android works fast, gui is clean, I get millions of Android apps to run on my computer like fintonic, Google keep, bank apps, greader etc.
Good idea or not?

I have that as a storage backup drive/external drive for laptop.
Still working.

How badly does the price you pay for your monitor affect screen tearing? I got this 2k monitor for only $250ish and it looks quite good, however the screen tearing is god awful, it's plainly noticable even when just scrolling down a thread.

Screen tear is caused due to irregularities between refresh rate and frame rate. Not from monitor quality. You gpu is probably the culprit here, it can't manage a steady frame rate at the resolution you are running.
