I hate it because of shitty OPs like you who don't have the balls to do anything worthwhile with their lives and instead pollute the purity of /g/ with shitty threads like these.

Do you guys know of any very quiet or near silent keyboards?
I recently bought one of those silicone keyboards, one with a full 100+ keys, but there is horrible ghosting (at times it occurs when just two keys are pressed, and one will not get inputted), sometimes it won't pick up my keystrokes, and it even will duplicate keys on occasion.
I don't live alone, and I can't have the RATATATATA of a keyboard going on all night.
Does anybody know of any good quiet keyboards?
Would not like mechanical, as I have mild RSI/carpal tunnel and I don't need to be pressing down super hard either.
What is actual Best laptop on the world?
>on the world
its time to go back
Macbook pro 2015
No such thing. By getting a laptop you are already crippling mobility compared to a smartphone or tablet and power compared to a desktop which can be upgraded easier (unless you get a super small form factor desktop). So by those metrics, I would seem the majority of laptops shit. The nice thing is that is only my opinion.
If you value battery life, then prepare to have a laptop with a weaker processor, no high res display, and possibly something heavier/bulkier just to get that larger battery.
If you want lightweight then don't expect a lot of repairability.
If you want power, then don't get your hopes up about being able to lug it around for long periods of time or having a good battery life.
if you don't know how a cpu works you shouldn't be on /g/
No, I think all fanboys should go back to their own fanboy watering holes.

So why are you here?
Yeah, and what f are you gonna do about it? Huh big guy
TMobile has announced changes to its upcoming One phone plan which will eventually be their only plan.
>Launch has been moved up to September 1
>Tethering speed limit increased from 128Kbps to 512Kbps
>Daily HD Video Pass available for $3 per day to remove the 480p limit to video streaming, won't be at launch
>T-Mobile ONE Plus introduced, for +$25 per line per month Tethering is at full speed and unlimited HD video passes and International data speed increased from 128Kbps to 256Kbps
https://newsroom.t-mobile.com/news-and-blogs/t-mobile-one-amped.htm
T-Mobile will still be in violation of the Open Internet Order by throttling video traffic unless given a fee.
File a complaint with the FCC.

Sometimes I really feel sorry for you Americans, over here I get 5GB of unthrottled LTE for Ā£15/m, and I could get a far better deal elsewhere, all this bollocks with throttling tethered data is a consumer nightmare.

> International data speed
Wait, does that seriously imply what I think it implies?
Anyone know a program that can convert .mp3 to .mp4 with a black picture en-masse

Some scars run deep and I can't forgive
So go kick rocks cause I'm trying to live

>Tfw when ubuntu because it's basically what you'd set up debian to be like
>Tfw you just buy prebuilt ultrabooks as your main machine
>Tfw when you use sublime for its simple package management and themes
>Tfw when the most you'll go for music is 100-200 dollars headphones and lossless music
>Tfw the most you'll rice for Linux is copy and pasting a i3 config
>Tfw you use appears despite it being a consistent botnet because it has low ram and CPU usage and chrome extensions
Explain why you aren't using tech to make life easier and post comfy tech feels

>tfw never had comfy setup since gnome 2 died.
No, mate does not offer/support some of the features I used back then. Also it's not just about DE, that was only most noticeable turning point when everything went to shit on a quest to disappoint me more and more with all the "upgrades"
>>56320407
>using windows 10 enterprise ltsb
>linux subsystem for windows
>can run all windows shit I need
>can run all the linux shit I need
Pretty comfy, if I do say so myself.

Linux, everyone.
Would you rather buy a fat ass "gaymur" laptop with dedicated GPU inside or a sleek thinkpad X1 and hook up an external graphics card?
Always the Thinkpad.
>>56320347
Non gayming laptop with dedicated GPU, because fuck integrated cards are shit even for movies.
I'd rather have a laptop with good battery life, servicability and connectivity.

Ever had a problem using LibreOffice/GIMP instead of MSOffice/Photoshop?
No, but I also use inkscape and krita In addition to gimp.
Not a problem, but generating a handful of titles using Gimp was tedious, since it doesn't support non-destructive effects (Layerstyles in Photoshop).
If I had to do a lot more of them, Gimp would actually have been easier, since it's easier to script than PS.

Why?
