I want to buy a new laptop, to do 1080p 50mbps editing and to play the latest games at 1080p 60fps.
So i read about the 1070, seems nice. But is it a good investment to put 1800€ in a laptop ?
I would buy a desktop pc if I could but I'm travelling for the next 6 months so it's not an option.
Any advices? Maybe some of you own a "gaming" laptop, does they last in time? Is a 970m enough?
Is there a big difference in performance between 900m and 1000 series?

So this might be a stupid question, but I just built a new computer and so far I've only used it for a little bit of gaming and some web browsing. I just finished watching a video on youtube though and an advert for grindr played at the end. Now I am gay, so it's an appropriately targeted ad, but how the hell does google know that? The only services I've logged onto on this computer are my squeaky clean work email and steam.
