How can I learn to make cool images and edit pictures with gimp?

Most tutorials only show basic shit I want to make cool things. Is there a really good book or something? I want to take a picture of something and blend it with a picture of a heart so it's kind of transparent

What VPN do you use? I've used mullvad in the past and it's been reliable and cheap. I was thinking about using a different one though, maybe hma or vyper but idk. What would you recommend? I usually use it on a live disk I carry around or on my android device.

Hey guys, I've been on a crappy Moto G android (with Republic Wireless as carrier) and I'm thinking of upgrading to an iPhone SE, since Best Buy is having a sale on refurbs ($330 for a 64 GB SE).

I want a smaller phone since I like to go jogging with it in my pocket and don't ever use the screen for watching movies or TV shows; my phone is mostly a device for podcasts, music, and various messaging apps (discord, slack, skype, etc). I'm mainly looking to upgrade from my poverty-tier phone for QoL reasons like 5GHz wireless support and the old phone just being slow/sluggish when loading web pages.

I'd have to switch carriers to T-Mobile, which I believe offers a $30/month plan with data, which is a tad more expensive than my current $25 plan with Republc Wireless.

Is there any reason for me not to do this? As I understand it I can still have services like Google Play Music and and Pocket Casts on iOS, meaning I can carry over all my old subscriptions/feeds without a lot of hassle. is there an android-based alternative that's significantly cheaper or offers significantly better quality phone for the same price?
