Does anybody know a way to find out how much ram does Hewlett-Packard 1670 motherboard support?

I have no idea and google is shit. Is it part of a laptop or some other device with a name? Just google that.

Does it use the HM65 chipset? Chances are the amount will vary between 8-16GB, since the chipset itself can use 16GB, but the board itself may not.
what is it /g/?
Is it a portable air conditioner?
tetris
Heatsink
Im an aspiring Network/Server Admin. How the fuck do you deal with a complete mess of a server room like this? Wouldn't this get you fired?
looks fine as long as it works.
>>56340342
You buy proper cabinets and you measure the crawlspaces so you can leave and keep the cables stretched.
Oh and you use fucking CAD to model out the network.
And most important of all.
If the installation came like that and you started working there.
Don't do jack shit if it works it works, don't want to go full FUBAR.
>>56340342
>>56340436
If I went to a new workplace and the server room looked like this, I wouldn't touch anything.
If it works, don't fix it.
Starting with LMDE here. Linux Mint Debian Edition uses Jessie's repos along with keeping all of mint's visual tools. It's a neat distro. It's got a live installer that lets you use the live version while the installation is going on in a tab, too, which is nice.
What Distro does /g/ think deserves more love? Why?

This 640 is on sale at target for $20 and I'm thinking of picking it up.
>>56339928
Literally useless for anything except as a dumbphone
An android port would be possible now, though
Not bad. Go for it to check out wp. Its app selection pales in comparison to ios and android but its still a great phone imo
>>56339928
$20? just get it. use it as a calculator or whatever.
>tfw I fell for the Android meme
>>56339909
thats perfect if it has a large capacity battery and you need to work it out so you charge it up in the evening when you get home then by morning when you go to school or work it has a full charge ready for your pokemon go adventures

i once had a relationship that lasted 8 hours and my friends called it rapid. what is this double standards? fucking fascist.
You either have a shitty charger or your phone is overheating. I have a warp elite that I got for $80 and it charges in under 2 hours (0 to 100) with a 2.1 amp anker charger and powerline micro usb cable.
I have an interview coming up for an at-home GeekSquad position. Anything I need to know? Have you ever worked an at-home support position? Have you ever worked for GeekSquad?
It's 99% a sales job and 1% technical.
Former bestbuyfag reporting in.
>>56339975 is completely correct, as long as you at least appear to be technically competent to fool the average consumer you're golden.
You're there to upsell and bullshit dumb people into thinking they need X or Y feature
Is this Intel propietary spyware for windows?
intel doesn't need a software to spy on you mate.
>>56339883
I never got the point of these softwares
>>56339951
Intel ME/vPro is actually really powerful if you have a chipset that fully supports all of its features. If you don't intend to use anything specific to ME then just don't install it, there's no point or advantage in doing so on an average desktop computer.
Why is font rendering on Windows so fucking god-awful? Seriously. Lincucks does a way better job at aliasing fonts than windows and the only options you need are hinting and RGB-order/greyscale aliasing. The Cleartype dialogue for choosing "which looks best" is a complete fucking joke clearly designed by a Pajeet.
>>56339857
>lets start aliasing the fonts more
The Apple Macbook Pro with Retina Display doesn't have this problem.
>>56340179
No shit. It's a homogenous product. They can literally hardcode aliasing based off their predetermined specification.
So /g/ my girlfriend wants me to build her a computer so that we can play Overwatch together. Would she hate me if I go with an AMD graphics card or should I get at least a 1060?Obviously I'll be getting an Intel CPU.
>>56339736
>Obviously I'll be getting an Intel CPU.
how is any of that obvious?
i'm on an older mid range system running win 7, amd apu and radeon x270 and i average 90fps
get off that intel and nvidia dick and you can afford a decent gpu
>intel i5 6400
>rx 470/480/gtx1060
>???
>dont profit because you have a girlfriend
>>56339736
I play overwatch on the highest settings with a gtx960 and get ~100fps. Depending on the price of 1060s where you're at a 960 may be a better choice. Just make sure to get the 4gb one if you do spring for the 960. Generally, overwatch uses ~1gb vram on mys system. I also have an i5-660k and 16gb DDR4 ram if that helps.

0) Install a GNU/Linux distribution of your choice in a Virtual Machine using VirtualBox or other software made for this puporse for safety purposes.
1) Use the Live ISO (if your distribution of choice has one) to boot directly into the GNU/Linux distribution without installing anything, that way, you can get to experience the GNU/Linux operating system without installing it.
2) Dual boot the GNU/Linux distribution of your choice along with Windows or macOS, this is recommended if you want to know more about the GNU/Linux operating system.
3) Go balls deep and replace everything with GNU/Linux.
