Which mp3 player has the best DAC?
>>56515074
>he fell for the meme
This appears to be a common myth.
Not really relevant if you can't bypass the internal amplifier hooked up to it. Product solutions will be either SoC or separate amplifier and converter sections.
The amplifier will be the critical factor in almost all cases, and the converter errors are generally marginal.
Thought it could be useful to carry a small usb stick with ubuntu on it in my wallet so i can use it on other computers
What do you think about it and can it harm my usb and shorten it's life span?
>>56514950
Do it. As long as the usb is used just for that then its fine.
>>56514950
>What do you think about it
it's a bad idea
>can it harm my usb
most definitely
>shorten it's life span?
yes
>>56514973
Why does it matter? creating a seperate folder and using it side by side with the OS can hurt the usb?
I have 2 separate routers of different providers hooked up to my PC. How do I make windows share the network load?
Right now it seems like all traffic goes through a single connection.
>>56514831
You don't.
>>56514831
You would need a single machine connected to both networks to achieve load balancing.
>>56515139
like the one he just described?

If you're looking for purchase advice, READ THE BUYERS GUIDE FIRST. Then post, stating budget and requirements (e.g. size and performance).
Don't buy anything OTHER THAN T, X AND W/P SERIES if you want the Real ThinkPad Experience™
Recommended models:
T420 - 14", normal size
X220 - 12.5", ultraportable
----
Why ThinkPad? (also applies to other business laptops)
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap.
>Excellent keyboards - tactile feel and quiet.
>Great durability: chassis uses a magnesium rollcage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels.
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models.
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop.
>Easy to repair, upgrade and maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model. Spare parts are easy and cheap to obtain.
>The best trackpoint (that red thing in the middle of the keyboard). Great for those who type a lot or hate swiping their fingers all over a touchpad.
>Excellent GNU/Linux & *BSD support.

Just picked up a t420 and it's pretty good.
second for maymays
Bought a t430, perfect condition but now I know you faggots weren't kidding about the cancerous screen, 1600x900 doesn't help one bit. Apparently the guy shipping those chink kits stopped doing his thing too: http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.php?t=118070
Am I fucked?
Hello. I want to add a picture to an audio recording and post it as a video on youtube. What Android program could I use to accomplish this? I have no computer access.
>>56514812
You must be 18+ to post here.
>>56514812
Try ffmpeg and gstreamer in a chroot
Sounds complicated. Could you elaborate and/or post a guide?
Rev up those updates, boys.

Wait, does the fact that I've been using Sierra all this time finally make me part of the sekrit klub?
>suddenly everything older than an iPhone 6 becomes sluggish
Just a coincidence...
I don't think iTunes is ready. That blue menu thing is p. gross too, reminds me of material design.
Safari also still has some rendering issues, like flickering white boxes.
So has anyone thought about getting one just for the hell of it?

>using this retarded piece of shit when you can just light it on fire
>>56514762
That's the testing shield
The actual USB kill stick is $50, seems pretty steep for something that has no practical purpose. This won't fry your hard drives, just the motherboard etc. Data is still retrievable
Only use for this is vandalism.

It's like you want to get caught while also eating cold hotpockets or something. Scrub.

Except it works.

what's wrong with that 'za?

He ordered it to 'go.
You know, I'm actually on KDE myself. I know this desktop environment is supposed to be better, but, you know what they say, old habits, they die hard...

Anyone knows how to fix this low resolution in Python IDLE window?
>>56514676
It looks like you have enabled the fucking up of fonts, icons and button sizes in your display settings. Set it back to 100% and reboot.

Their font scaling is dogshit anon. Good luck fixing it, and report back if something works.

I think we know what the problem is here, anon.
Used Azureus until it went to Vuze, then went to Bitlord but they tried to virus my shit up with the 2.4 install.
What is the best modern torrent tracker?
>>56514665
>tracker
>>56514690
I apologize, torrent program. Azureus was both a program and a tracker, so the two are blurred to me.

I DON'T KNOW WHY
Hi /g/
I am trying to install Debian on my main desktop, as it works very well for me on my memepads, and I no longer play games so I decided it was time to fully convert.
BUT.
Youtube playback is choppy as fuck, no matter if I use chromium or firefox.
Specs are the following:
i7-4770K
32GB RAM
960GB SSD
HD 7990 6GB graphics
What should I do? I tried disabling hardware acceleration, but it is not working. Also tried free and non-free GPU drivers, but nothing changed.
YouTube only works right in chrome on lincucks
SUPERIOR OPERATING SYSTEM
>>56514603
This guy is right. Sorry.
>>56514622
>>56514603
I said I tried both chromium and firefox. Can't you read?
It goes like this:
>god programmer tier
Rust, Go, C, D
>too dumb to learn real coding tier
HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, Ruby, Bash
>idiot no job tier
Haskell, erlang, Perl, brainfuck, Lisp, Ada
>pajeet code monkey cubicle tier
C++, C#, .NET, Java, PHP, typescript
That'd better be boiled over hard with raw jelly beans
Too dumb tier here.
I had a fear of maths in high school due to bad experiences and turned out this way.
>>56514536
>puts typescript and javascript to different tiers
> _PUTS_ C++ to worst tier
