Actually this is kinda cool.

Especially Linux switch.
Maybe we need Kali Linux instead Gentoo? and don't forget physical keyboard.
>>
You know what? no.

If /g/ made the phone, it would be a Nokia N900 updated to current specs and with a great battery.

We are not a bunch of retards.

What's your opinion on websites that detect Adblocking scripts? And specifically ones that use companies like AdLatch to put their site behind a paywall like pic related if they find out you're using one.

I've noticed a big increase in websites taking advantage of ad-block detecting plugins. They're getting almost as annoying as the auto-play video ads/ fake buttons their pages are covered in. Is there an easier way to deal with these things besides live deleting code from the page?

We just need an adblocking blocker blocker.

Most of them can be blocked with NoScript.

I've been working on a messageboard software in C, and I've been putting off doing the post-linking scripting for 3 days because right now it segfaults if the post is something like ">>12345" and nothing else.

Stupid questions thread seems to be a dead
end.

Need to do this:

you just need to change the value of "androidboot.hardware" parameter in the grub command from "Android_x86" to "x86". You can do this by pressing "Tab" in the boot menu or by editing "isolinux.cfg" file on the installation ISO Image.

Okay, I pressed Tab but how do I change the value?

pressing tab should open up the boot comnand. you can modify it any way you want. you probably want to add or change
androidboot.hardware=x86
the downside of this is that it's only temporary and you'll have to do it every time you boot.
edit isolinux.cfg for a permanent fix. it's usually in the /boot directory.

Why are Samsung memories so bad? Actually i should extend this to encompass all of samsung's products: why are they all so bad?

I bought the pictured memory card for my phone roughly one month ago, at first it did flawlessly which kind of had me impressed since all the samsung products i have ever bought were straight-up shit.

After some time using it, it suddenly decided to shut itself closed, not allowing any more data being written to it. Now, as things stand, i can no longer write anything to it nor can i erase it, it seems like it refuses to do anything.

The reading speed hasn't dropped, wouldn't know about the writing speed for obvious reasons. I've already made a backup so i'm willing to have it undergo any recovery procedures you might suggest, i'm planning to throw it out for a Sony one anyway because the latter company seems more reliable.

You got a defective one? I have 5 64gb microSD cards from Samsung (there was a sale awhile ago) and they're all still working great.
>>
>>56524904
I wouldn't know, my friend bought the same one shortly after i did and got the same run of fate.

Isn't there anything i can do at this point? Would you recommend any diagnosis tool?

Something that doesn't give up fixing right away would be nice.
>>
>>56524927
You bought a Chinese replica. Samsung will exchange it at no charge even if it's fake.

The future of consumer headphones is wireless. The writing has been on the wall for years.

Apple is just getting ahead of the game and selling better-than-Bluetooth earbuds with enhanced usability and reliability, then waiting while everyone else catches up over the next few years.

That would depend on the year that coin was minted and on its condition. Also, you'd need to specify which category of tech you're looking for the "best" in.

>More than 100s of monitors have FreeSync because pretty much anyone can do it without being jewed by licensing fees
>Consoles being 100% AMD means we'll start getting FreeSync TVs for those Xbox Scorpions and PS4 Poos powered by Polaris technology
>Even Intel is supporting FreeSync on their integrated graphics

How does it feel knowing that the only way to get the buttery smooth framerates of adaptive sync you'll have to buy a $1000 monitor that looks like some Ayylmaoware tier shit, team green?

>>56524357
Gsync is superior in every aspect

But the trade off is it's more expensive
>>
Who cares about either memesync crap, 144hz doesn't need that for smoothness.
>>
>>56524416
Have fun when the game is locked at 60hz or when your framerate drops

Freesync pretty much gets rid of any choppiness, makes meme fpses useless

What does /g/ think of the Xiaomi mi Book Air 13?

It's difficult to find comprehensive English reviews, does anyone here own one? It looks like a really good system, but I'm sceptical.
