Just bought this and wow.....coming from a 768 screen to this thing for 250$ is kind of overpowering. Does anyone else have experience with the difference between 60Hz And 144Hz? And i don't care if you're an edgy robot. Just want person info.
AOC G2770PQU Black 27" 144 Hz
>>56542497
the real deal is IPS 144hz 1440p gsync which is what i'm using now.
now i'm waiting for curved 37" minimum 1440p 144hz IPS/VA
yes the difference and experience is great. anyone saying 144hz is a meme is a cuck stuck on their expensive 60hz IPS dell.
>>56542497
>>56542535
144hz is meme.
>>56542535
Yes i agree anon.
looking to buy a new mouse for MMO and Working
I recently got pic related but I'm returning this shit
scrolling sucks and side buttons are retardedly placed that is almost impossible to reach them.
>having to create a razer account to configure your mouse
BTFO
I need:
> at least 4 fully customizable buttons (in addition to left, middle, and right buttons)
> vertical and horizontal scrolling
> sensitivity adjustment is a plus
> must be bluetooth compatible
> don't care if it uses batteries or is it rechargeable
>winblows, macfag, and shitnux compatible
currently looking at MOUS9, but what other options do I have /g/?
also, mice thread general, show what you /g/ot
>jewtooth

What is your connection and are you able to watch 4k youtube without buffering?
I just recently moved to a 100mbps fibre plan and im finding anything above 1080p youtube requires a lot of buffering. Is this normal? Ive also found my ISP isnt listed as hd certified by youtube (if that makes any difference)
Netflix 4k seems to be perfect and not an issue.
Wow how much does she weigh
>>56542273
it's youtube. they've started doing some new bullshit and i can't skip around in the videos like i used to, always have to wait a few seconds before it continues playing
everything else is fine for me on 250 mbit/s fiber, just youtube being slow and crappy
>>56542457
They do that on purpose to try and skimp on bandwidth. From their point of view any bandwidth spent buffering is wasted if the viewer stops watching the video, so they try to do as little of it as possible.
just use youtube-dl if you really must watch drivel from that site
I don't know what gentoo is, I only browse this board because it's default in clover for my phone, haven't programmed anything in my whole life and yesterday I bought and iPad. Not even kidding.
>>56542278
Hey anon, that's kind of offensive.
>>56543157
>2016

Alright /g/, I have a brilliant idea for a chat app where you can only send memes but no text. This thread can be used to experiment with the possibility of communicating using only memes.
>>56542295
Sup /g/,
My father died not so long ago, so I got to keep his iPhone.
Used it for a while, all fine.
Now I updated the iOS and this shit gives me iCloud lock.
Watched some panjeet vid telling me to use a DNS bypass, but that doesn't rly unlock the phone.
How the fuck do I unlock this without getting fkd by the cyber police?
Give it back, Jamal.
I don't mean to be racist, but why are niggers so fucking stupid?
It's been common knowledge that you cannot unlock an iPhone for YEARS now. It's as good as a brick to you, Jamal. Just give it back.
this is a creative one, jamal
typically we just get the "i forgot my password" spiel
What's a good example of some brief but very high quality OpenGL code I can build on top of?
I want to pretend to be a dev team composed entirely of Syrian women, release a half-assed piece of anti-islamic trippy nonsense after crowdfunding a fortune, and be immune to complaints because I am multiple Syrian women expressing themselves through abstract art.

For a gaming computer, what part should I buy next if I already have a processor and graphics card?

Say I could only get one. What should it be?
tell me some pros and cons about using windows xp 64 as my main workstation
>>56541884
use GNU, BSD, Mac or Windows 7-10 ending with Vista and XP is autism in this day and age
>>56541904
i hate linux and win7+
i had no problems with xp 32 bit how dangerous can running a 64 bit version of xp be? i mean most viruses/malware/exploits are designed for xp 32 anyways, right?
is it true that the 64 bit version of xp is more secure, since it uses a different kernel?
Pros:
>aesthetic
>comfy
>good for basic shit or older games
Cons:
>less drivers than an AMD card on gentoo
>insecure as fuck
>incompatible with most newer hardware
Are you tech babbies?
can you teach me more about having my own j-pop radio station?
Because the nearest place to get a license is a 4+ hour drive away

I'm pretty sure you would get shut down by the HAM police for playing any kind of music
hey guys. so much of today i was trying to get 4.6ghz on my 6700k since I just got a DH15. I'm Stable at 4.5 so i thought id give 4.6 a try and i got to 1.360 volt
Using 4 programs to stress test, Aida 64, Real Bench, OCCT, & P95.
I've only done short term testing 30 min each, back to back, 5 min break or so in between... Well except on P95...
I'm able "pass" the other 3 testing but P95 at custom settings 1344 min/max (followed a guide, but pretty much same result in small ftt) I got 1 bsod so far cpu clock watchdog or something, or usually one or 3 workers will fail. And temps are usually around at mid 70s
here are the settings i was using on the 4.6 OC http://imgur.com/a/I3r8S
anything i should change?
Yeah, kys.
>>No.56541879

Im thinking of building a gaming PC for under 1100 dollars, something to run things 1080p 60fps master race blablabla. I've never built a PC myself before and I need some help, I've looked up some lists of parts but none of them seem like what I want. The only other boards I go on are /pol/ and /fit/ so I'm expecting this to be 100% shitposts but if anyone has serious build suggestions any help is appreciated.
Pic unrelated.
The price of the monitor isn't included in the 1100 dollar budget.
Depending on the type of responses I get on this board I have extra incentive for good builds

i5 4690k/6600k + a decent Gigabyte/Asus/MSI Z97/Z170 chipset motherboard
8 or 16GB compatible memory, don't spend more for higher clock speed, it won't help you at all
RX 480 or GTX 1060
Get a decent Corsair/EVGA/XFX/Seasonic 80+ Silver or Gold modular/semi-modular PSU
Don't skimp on the case, you'll regret it
Get a solid state, it's more than worth it
>>56541694
Listen to this man
>>56541694
Would an i7 work? It's still in my price range
>There are people willing to pay $400+ for this
Why?
>>56541561
To play Mario on it.
>>56541561
Because they can.
>>56541602
But there are cheaper alternatives.
