How is the GPL still a thing?
Until Linux abandons the GPL license, it will never truly be free. Linus has echoed this.

Don't you need to go pick up your wife's son from school right now, anon?
>>56543956
GPL: You have to freely SHARE what's yours
BSD: You don't have to do anything

Good luck getting custom roms for your phone when goohle ditches linux

>>56543935

Wish it WOULD go off, fucking lawsuits would set me for life
>>56543935
My old S5 is still running a OK after 2 years.
I wish it would go off next to my head so I can finally feel the sweet release of death
But ive been charging it wirelessly which apparently prevents the explosion thing

AMD can't even manufacture million let alone sell that many.
>>56543930

Mine is the fact that it's not other distros.
Mine'ssudo rm -rf / --no-root-preserve
I like how it took me two days to install a functioning OS. Then I went to update to KDE5 with QT5 and it broke.

The 97 hour install temporarily distracted me from thoughts of suicide

Look up the machine learning Stanford class with Andrew Ng.
Also look up tensorflow, and kaggle.com for tools and examples.
Start with python libraries, they are easy to learn.
>>56544630
That is good, but also not very theoretical. It is just code-monkey level mathematics on how the algorithms work, not the computer science side of it.
See https://work.caltech.edu/telecourse.html for some real machine learning theory.

So whats your guys ratio and what vpn do you use if any?
My ratio is 2:1 and I don't use a vpn because I don't download copyrighted material.
Is this good?
>>56543202
2.81:1
I don't use a VPN because telcos in my country do some great lobbying. Government chose to tackle piracy another way.
>>56543159

>long battery life
>comfy
>great performance

Stupid mistakes you've made and learned from
>Tried to extend a partition backwards
Tried to make a RAID array with an existing drive and no backup
Didn't install gentoo.
Don't have three different Windows versions on one drive.
Also, don't set your PSU to 115w when it's meant to be on 230w, RIP.
Prove me wrong. I just love reading half witted instructions by nerds who clearly failed English class in order to install even the most basic of software. Do Linux dorks actually believe Linux could compete with OSX or Windows?
>>56543092
Yes, and win.
>>56543092
No desktop Linux user will admit it, but we all know deep down it's just a hobby.
Linux is slow, uncompatible, unstable, garbage that no sane person would run as their main OS.
But as a hobby? Sure, it's fun to fuck around with.
