Aside from the goofy name, is there anything actually wrong with Ubuntu?
>>62050922
Nope, I prefer Mint for an actual OS for human beings.
Not after they got rid of Unity
>>62050922
Ubuntu is the only GNU+Linux distro I've used that has broken from a routine update.
I used Arch for probably 3 years or so, mostly with KDE4.
I hated gnome2, and kubuntu is the shittiest implementation of KDE I've tried. Knoppix is kind of a mess, but it works.
Sabayon was the nicest and fastest KDE5 distro I tried, better than Neon.

why do you need an update when it works fine
Is it shit or good?
it's much much worse than photoshop
It does everything you need it to, as long as you aren't an artist.
Its great if you never used Photoshop but if you did it'll be hard to get used to

I doubt JUSTnich leaving Trump's council has anything to do with that.
Regardless AMD taking over China could be pretty cool.

If you have a link that isn't in here, post it.
Tried to fill up OP a bit, still far from completed, decided to use old pastebin because the hastebin in other thread was empty.
Took some of the suggestions too. Hopefully next OP will do better.

How fucking retarded are the GNOME devs exactly? They remove all the usability yet make everything so fuckig HUGE there would be more than enough space for removed features.

Use xfce dude. Get over gnome kde and the rest of the bloatware that breaks more often than it works.
If you are a hc gnome fun go for MATE.
If you want a more userfriendly DE get cinnamon.
Gnome and kde are broken.

>wm4SL
(I) decided against it, because:
- compiling wm4SL to GLSL/SPIRV/HLSL will require writing a compiler for each, which is not fun in C
- it will have bugs, and debugging this will be lots of wasted effort
- the feedback we get on errors will be worse
- it will make code more developer-hostile (since developers now have to learn wm4SL instead of just using GLSL which is already well-known)
- it will break all existing user shaders unless they're rewritten in wm4SL (and I'm not too keen on pulling a mozilla)
- it would probably be easier to just write a GLSL->SPIRV compiler from scratch
- it would probably be even easier to just fix glslang
