Where do people get Abode software for free nowadays?
There used to be free amtlib.dll files in mega for all adobe products. This fucking sucks.
Same sources as usual.
>>56644044
Can you recommend me some? I just need the amtlib.dll file i don't need a crack or to install anything.

Other business laptops are also welcome in /tpg/ (e.g. Dell Latitude/Precision, HP EliteBook/ZBook).

If you're looking for purchase advice, READ THE BUYERS GUIDE FIRST. Then post, stating budget and requirements (e.g. size and performance).
Don't buy anything OTHER THAN T, X AND W/P SERIES if you want the Real ThinkPad Experience™
Recommended models:
T420 - 14", normal size
X220 - 12.5", ultraportable
----
Why ThinkPad? (also applies to other business laptops)
>Used machines are plentiful and cheap.
>Excellent keyboards - tactile feel and quiet.
>Great durability: chassis uses a magnesium rollcage for structural integrity, with high quality plastic body panels.
>Utilitarian design: e.g. indicator LEDs, 7 row keyboard layout on older models.
>Docking stations that easily turns your laptop into a desktop.
>Easy to repair, upgrade and maintain thanks to readily available service manuals for every model. Spare parts are easy and cheap to obtain.
>The best trackpoint (that red thing in the middle of the keyboard). Great for those who type a lot or hate swiping their fingers all over a touchpad.
>Excellent GNU/Linux & *BSD support.

I have a couple mm inaccuracy and no pressure sensitivity, and no fucking idea what to do.
I even installed a driver that worked for giving me pressure sensitivity on my last Helix.
Do you encrypt your phone, /g/?
No, I have nothing to hide.
I did, yeah. Mostly because the option was there when I installed CyanogenMod, but also because I'm a filthy terrorist doing terrorism things terroristically.
Yes. I store passwords and shit on it.

http://arstechnica.com/apple/2016/09/good-news-ios-10-runs-pretty-well-on-the-iphone-5-and-5c/
iPhone 5 released in 2012.
>I’ve always been frustrated by the “forced obsolescence” argument with respect to iPhones and iPads, and the fact that iOS 10 runs pretty well on the iPhone 5 makes it even more silly than it normally is. There is, to put it quite simply, no other company on Earth who is providing this kind of support for its phones. Not one. How many years has it been since Samsung even thought about the Galaxy S III? The HTC One X didn’t even make it two years. Microsoft ditched the Lumia 920 with the Windows 10 update despite promises that all Windows Phone 8 phones would be supported. Even Google won’t commit to keeping a phone around and up-to-date for more two years. And it’s getting to the point where any given Android phone maker couldn’t keep hardware updated for more than two or three years even if it wanted to.
How will Android recover?
>>56643619
Why is iOS 10 so ugly, though?
It looks like some shitty Linux theme.
first of all this isn't a pleasant surprise at all, since iOS beta 1 we know what phones it will support.
second of all, forced obsolescence doesn't come instantly, minor updates will slowly fuck up iPhone 5, just like it did with iOS 9.x with my 4S, they even removed red light filter from 4S even though it supported it, just to make me buy a new phone, cunts.

Do you like the picture quality on it?
Not sure if this is the right place to ask.
I'm not a very PC-savy guy, but I tried my hand at cleaning my pc. In the process I removed the CPU fan from the CPU, seperating the heatsinks. Being an idiot, I didn't replace the thermopaste (have now) but I'm quite sure I'd have smelled the smoke if it was burnt. Have no clue what may cause this, please help!
With simply Chrome running my CPU usage is at a steady 50%-ish.
The CPU is an Intel Core i7-4790K CPU @ 4.00GHz.
Can provide pictures if need be.
Please help /g/.
Your house is on fire
Also I'm pretty sure most modern CPUs (for past 5-10 years?) don't burn but shut down if overheated
>>56643615
That is true, so there's no damages. But I still don't understand why it's so slow.
>>56643499
/g/ is not your tech support
get yourself a task manager and look at what is causing the 50%
if it´s chrome realize what a tool you are and get firefox or any of its forks
Is my graphics card done for /g/?
Cool wallpaper, do you have a link for it?
Any other answers?
>>56643629
Sure. All you have to do is to smash your graphics card to get this wallpaper

I don't know but its pretty
how often if ever do you clean the cumstains off your laptop?
i don't. I'm wondering if the cumstains eats away at the laptop. it's a mac.
I don't either. It adds a kind of vintage look to my t420.
>cumming on your laptop
>>56643331
>it's a mac
Of course it is.
What font are you using /g/?
I like this font also.
>>56643415
Fantasque
Terminus
Did Apple have something to do with Galaxy Notes exploding? The timing is very suspicious and news sites like the Verge are saying Samsung is done and the only thing they'll be associated with from now on is the explosion.
Pure coincidence, move along.
>>56643312
no, all the things come from china, not sure if Samsung makes there own stuff, but if it comes from china it just means china has a reason to be pissed off at japan, so they fuck up there marketing. Nothing really to do with apple, just china throwing the dick around again.
>>56643527
Samsung is from Korea not Japan stupid cunt.
>Android 7.0 is moving encryption from full-disk encryption to file-based encryption
How does /g/ feel about this?
don't know details (link pls?) but sounds horribly weak
bad for security, great for FBI.
>>56643589
Detailed info here: https://source.android.com/security/encryption/file-based.html
tl;dr
We're getting rid of full-disk encryption and replacing it with user file-space encryption.
How do i make it work /g/?
Dumping a couple pics
Damn that first pic is low on uality. Sorry my bad
>>56643257
Need a clearer picture but from what I can see is there's something wrong with the floppy disk drive and the CMOS battery.
