Post a .webm of it.
Does it happen in other browsers?
Also, do you really need Flash? YouTube uses HTML5 now.
Maybe your screen is actually upside down but it's fixed in software, but youtube bypasses that software.
What do you have confidence that open source is not spyware?
Has anybody looked into all source codes?
What is your confidence that GNU/Linux is not a botnet?
How much source code you see?
"The Greatest Darkness Is Under The Lamp."
>Has anybody looked into all source codes?
yes.

Everyone cares only for his part, no one has seen it all.

You really underestimate the power of autism. You need to remember why you just typed GNU/Linux (preferably GNU plus Linux).

Wasting time machines
Found one of these gems in an old house. Works fine minus the fact that it's hard to precisely control the clock rate
I helped my grandpa build this time machine from his old car. By the way, does any of you happen to have some plutonium for sale?
Found this in my dads garage. Wat do?
Why is this moderator so right?
This message board is amazing.

The book publishing industry is a complete clusterfuck honestly I don't think authors make any money from actual sales of their books, which is why they crave advances so much. If it becomes popular enough that they can do tours, get tv guest spots, if they've retained licensing rights (personally, not given to the publishers) then yeah they can make shitloads. It's all such a racket, fiction, non-fiction, academia, the writers don't get shit. And that's not even going into the publishers who have issues with the major booksellers like Amazon. Or the scarcity of some titles in physical form.
I know damn well if I have to play $300 for a book the writer isn't seeing a fucking penny of that.
>>56644205
They make decent amount.
If they're published they have a deal and are paid in advance, if the book outsell the deal they're paid in royalties afterwards.
Tours and tv guest spot and what not are generally discussed during the making of the contract before any sells.
If they're self-published they're probably on digital on amazon or something similar, then they have a deal with amazon who takes a % on each sell.
But tbqh they don't care if you torrent it or buy it second hand somewhere because they don't get any money from that.
Assuming our universe is a simualtion, and the programmer is a hack, how would we go about crashing the simulation?

No, it couldn't.

If we can't imagine 4D shapes, we can't find a way around the system at all.
As in, we're prebuilt desktops that can't perform better.
hey /g/, i'm too poor to buy an antivirus and i can't find a serial key for malwarebytes premium.
what free av do you recommend?
>inb4 brain.exe
>>56644068
If you're on Windows 7 then MSE, if you're on Windows 8.1/10 then Windows Defender.
They aren't perfect but they're enough if you have a little bit of brain and an ad blocker.
Three things:
Keep Windows Defender
Only download scene releases
Avoid suspicious files, always use Virustotal when you can't
And with that, you no longer need to buy any antivirus, and your PC stays fast af.

If that's your setup OP, which monitor mount?
I read storied about phones lasting 3 months before hardware comes all apart
also I got a $50 android phone. Didnt even last a day (software problem)
ALSO these china phones CANNOT be fixed (hardware wise) coz no spare parts r made for most
also the cheaper ones cannot even be fixed if you get a critical OS error
>meanwhile my Moto G2 is still fine hardware + software (android 4.4.4)
Are you alright OP?

Was it black?
Linux randomly freezes... Windows works OK. By freeze I mean, can't even move the mouse cursor.
I'm puzzled by this... never happened to me before. I did a memory test and drive tests but they seem fine.
I read on Ubuntu forums that mostly total freezes happen either due to 1) disk malfunctioning; 2) graphic drivers
how can I diagnose this further? I checked Xlog and dmesg but I can't see anything in the logs

What if you're not on wincuck and your network stack can already do this?

The 2400 was actually their first decent controller, if this is at least as good, then there's no reason to lament the choice of NIC next time you're buying a motherboard.
