Can confirm. I picked mine up on Saturday .
I do like the button on these to switch though if need be between 60-120-and 144hz.
>>56678264
Nice screen dude, I picked up the z35, console gaming will be hard :(
>>56678157
I replaced one of my monitors a while ago with a 144hz panel, just the one I used for playing vidya on.
But everything was so much smoother that I ended up buying a second one because I couldn't cope with how disgusting 60hz looked even just on the desktop.
144hz is the greatest.
I'm in process of selecting components for my wife's son first computer and i need an advice on the motherboard. What's better: XPOWER TITANIUM GODLIKE CARBON GAMING, FURY PREDATOR SS PRECISION GAMING or IMPACT SN1PER RANGER KILLER GAMING?
There are a plethora of websites dedicated to comparing parts are you come here? Fucking install gentoo

I was told that here gather professionals experienced in cases like mine. I did my research in guts and battlestation threads to confirm this.

why are they ALL going to down?
>>56677873
I'd imagine that would be because large firms in any given area are likely to put up job offers at the same time to prevent their competitors from hiring the best people without competition (basically a prisoner's dilemma situation). This means we should see some months with sharp rises and falls in job postings instead of a more even distribution.

Hello guys.
Im going to buy a new laptop for the university, and im going to use some CAD programs. Im wondering, which is a better processor for using last-gen CAD programs, the Intel Core i7 or i5?
if you can get a good i5 or a poor i7 for around the same price you should get the i5
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toZ_t88bPBU
>>56677747
all intel CPUs use the same silicon.
i7's are just clocked higher and have their cache intact, where i5s have 25% of their cache disabled, and if they're a quade core, they also have hyper threading disabled.
>>56677784
What that actually means?
>>56677774
How do I difference a good one from a bad one?
Are these websites good source of tech info?
What do you use?
Got some recommendations or some good authors/journalists?
>>56677703
Arsetechnica and Dailydot are pleb/reddit tier garbage.
EFF isn't really a news site and I don't know Linuxjournal.
It depends on what interests you. "Tech" can mean a lot of stuff.
Slashdot, even if it somewhat went to shit in the last years, covers a lot of the generic tech news that make it into the mainstream.
Infoworld does too, I believe, but I only follow a subsection there.
And then you have all kinds of specialized sites/blogs/subreddits.
>>56677703
I get all my tech news from the teksyndicate
>>56677839
I'm mostly interested in internet/privacy/hacking/software/piracy informations and news. I believe these are more crucial and important things nowadays than say hardware and prosthetic legs.
I am more interested in what big companies are doing to people, death of privacy and how to fight them.
Got any suggestions?

This stuff is like 10 years old since its release, but people say it's still one of the best ergonomic keyboards.
I'm thinking of buying one.
What do you think?
I dont like that its branded microsoft. Ive used one once though along with a matching ergonomic microsoft mouse and it was pretty comfy.
I used to have one, the keys felt very mushy.

I owna MotorolaRAZRD3 recently it stopped recognizing headphones in general. In the beginning only p3 plugs didn't work, but now p2 plugs stop working too. BUT, when the plug is wet it does work. What the heck is going on?
>Android phones

>>56677587
No idea but my friend had an HTC phone where headphones wouldnt work unless he licked the plug. That was pretty funny. I remember the phone being very dusty maybe it has something to do with that?
